Love these 10 min POVs! It’s really good watching you take photos under pressure I also really enjoy how it is completely uncut so it gives a better view of how you shoot and look out for things!! 🙌
Im litteraly checking YT several times a day, hoping to see a new video from you. Eventhough I have notifications "on". Keep doing what you do Sam. Its really appreciated by a lot of people
hey sam. amazing video as always but what if you have the before and after editing picture in the video and you put all the information like aperture, shutterspeed, iso etc. next to it. i think it would be a nice idea. Love your videos they are very inspiring. have a great day
Hey Sam! Your channel is my therapy, I just find it and you, your photography and passion so amazing! You’re the one that actually inspired me to get my first camera, not as expensive as yours, but canon M50 MK II, and it’s definitely serving me well as a beginner! Could I just ask what kind of focus settings it is you use that tracks and automatically focuses on faces?
long time m50 user here (althought i recently upgraded to an R6), the face detect autofocus on the m50 isnt excellent for this kind of photography so i would recommend you just stick the camera on single point and tap on the focus point on the screen before taking your photo.
Love this 10 minute challenge - I don't do videos but may set myself a street photo time challenge this weekend to see what i get in ten minutes in a location - thanks for always inspiring us
Man I'm hoping to come to London in September. Your videos have made me want to come even more so now. I've never used my a3 in the rain but judging by your videos I'd better get ready to do so haha
Thanks for the video. Just curious. I remember you mentioning you use manual for ISO, aperture, etc. But because you are constantly on the move, aiming around non-stop, what exposure metering do you find works best for 'your' POV's? Multi-pattern, Center-weighted, spot, etc? As you move so much, the lighting can change drastically.
Hey Peter, I don’t use and never have used exposure metering I expose for a balance between highlights and shadows, the beauty and also downside to digital sonys is the ev and rear screen are real time exposure so you can see how the image will look directly on the screen before taking it. Some people use exposure metering for video content especially using picture profiles like S-log so they can expose correct for colour grading but for me I can typically go bye eye for photos. Hope this helps.
Great little challenge for the POV tonight loved it as always and may have to give this a go, ive got the 85mm Samyang turning up Thursday cant wait. Also thanks for the shout out on the #tag in this video. Also whats your thoughts on 16-35 2.8 or 24-70 as looking at getting one in January.
Do you have any advice for someone like me who lives in a really empty city? I live in upstate NY in a very dangerous city and when I go downtown there are hardly any people on the street.
@@Opticalwander i have Photoshop but i don't have Lightroom. Its An older version of Photoshop my friend gifted me. And i can't open .XMP files on it but j can open .Cube LUT files
In the scene with the guy painting inside a shop, you adjusted ur settings. What did you adjust in that situation ? Do you focus on speed or iso - or will the exposure compensation work for that ? Sry for all the questions always :D

YES !!!! I wanted to ask the same thing, but didnt want to be "that guy always asking for everything" - thanks for the help Maurxce :)
@@TomatenDK no problem mate
camera settings are pretty irrelevant since they depend on the lighting conditions but the before and after is a good idea
Excellent content, thanks. What white balance setting do you use?
Loved being walked around soho and cant wait to see portrait stuff.
I love your pov photography videos. Keep doing :)
The grind is real! Awesome bro

Me encantaría poder tomar fotos así aquí en México, pero si te ven tomando fotos sin permiso la gente suele molestarse. I love your work 📸🖤

Imagine walking past a dude who's talking to himself about shooting a person...might be a shock until you notice the camera 😂😂
I have this conversation with my self daily when I listen back to the footage 😂 I need to specify I think 😂
joined the video at 85 views, Sam equips 85mm Lens 😂
Seems like you struggled a lot with shutter speed today, happens sometimes 😆
Hey man! Is there a way you could upload your presets in .Cube format?
