I think it’s because it fulfils the technical design ethos of red stone: it doesn’t have “magic do stuff blocks” that just handles everything for you, it has components that you have to put together, while considering technical limitations, like the 15 block redstone power limit
The best part about the Create Mod is how you can still use red stone. A couple mods that our similar to the Create Mod basically change everything, while this still feels vanilla!
@@josephconover5270 well he can already fly with elytra, the flugel tiara is cool but, speaking as someone who has tried to build with it, it's not exactly ideal as in the latest forms of the mod at least it's not unlimited flight, and I often just used it along with an elytra anyway

Though I don't know if they would go with full Terrasteel Armor or stick with full Netherite. At least there is the fact that the enchanter in the mod that can use books to enchant and doesn't use up the books so mending would not be a problem.

Hermitcraft most certainly won't be modded. It's going to stay vanilla as it is now (with some minor tweaks at most), and I'm glad it will, but a separate SMP would be cool (Tango and Zedaph have a Create series going, and Xisuma is also doing one).
Your server admin? Mumbo doesn't own the hc server, all costs to keep the server up are shared between the hermits and xisuma does the admin stuff like updating the server, adding small mods to improve the performance or add little things like the miniblocks,...
The bonemeal supply can now overflow, I would love to see an adjustment that when the system overflows, it automatically adds light to the skeleton spawners and prevents them from spawning.
would be kinda easy to do, there's a belt observer that can be filtered to give off a redstone signal when there's the item in the filter on the belt so you just put it somewhere on the bone transporting belt and take the redstone signal to lamps that would deactivate the spawners

A beautiful overall creation! There is this mod which has barrels that work like chests but can only carry one kind of items. Once you decide the item you want said barrels to hold, they showcase a little image of the items carried to the front with their total amount as well. Could be nice as a chest replacement to this contraption and avoiding collision problems with frames!
I would love to see this in Hermitcraft season 8. Probably not gonna happen, but it'd be a nice touch. And maybe it could help Grian learn the more complex side of automation in Minecraft as a proxy.

You can make double chest and then keep item frame on one side and funnel on another side that would make it easier but the room size would be doubled. ❤️❤️
This is simpler than redstone actually, the mod has the button “W” when you are hovering over an item to show how it can be used in a 3D matrix, and it also provides the engineer goggles
The power generator kinda reminds me of starting an old diesel engine where you have to warm up the cylinder in order to start it. Pretty neat video Mumbo, good job.
One of the big issue in Minecraft is how to organize your chest and eventually try to partially automate the sistem. Fo those in modded minecraft exist many mod that help you to collect and distribuite what you need. Es. Applied energistic, refined storage, simple storage, etc but for mumbo wievers aren't advisable.
I use my imagined world of people stuck in minecraft, using redstone machines to go to war with each other, to pass the time sometimes. Thank you, for giving me a whole new area to imagine. Story is gunna get crazy
I would like to mention, when I first saw one of your videos I knew nothing about the create mod or redstone, but now, while watching your video in the background I made a 7 by 5 seamless mechanical piston door.
I've been playing with a friend with the Create mod and honestly it's so great. You can do a lot of really complex things with it yet it's really intuitive and easy to use with all the small tutorials it has in game for almost all mechanisms. I've always kinda wanted Minecraft to be more like factorio and this is the first mod I've tried that implements that kind of thing while still feeling like Minecraft.
Deployers draw from any inventory on the contraption as long as you have the item you want it to place set as the filter and not just right clicked into the hand, so the saplings would auto refll it without the need for a hopper, also blast furnaces can be used with the furnace generator to quadruple its output, and finally hoppers will insert items into the top slot when placed on top and the fuel slot when placed on the sides so to automate that process dosent require create
When I heard "This is like something out of a James Bond film" my mind immediately went "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to get sorted!" Man, Gert Fröbe was a great Bond villain.
A good simple way to build an auto farm would be to use a vertical windmill bearing and make a line of placers and saws on two sides with the sails on the others. Then the farm works without need of rotational power and then you can use the portable storage connections to pull the inventory and then belts and such for item movement and filtering.
I've heard rumors from one of Tango's streams that Mumbo and Grian are supposedly starting a server. No idea when they plan on starting (if Tango was right) or when we'd see the first video, but its something to look forward to.
I remember Mumbo's enthusiasm when something is added to minecraft and he has fun with it then shows us what a genius he is. Him using the create mod has the same vibe.
Having seen tango make an infinite power generator with this mod, its pretty cool how different your version is. His doesn't need constant items to be smelted, but your's is pretty compact
@@Nat_the_Chicken Well, Mumbo did not actually bother to make it compact and just used a normal minecraft mob farm so it could easily be much more compact.
You can use item filters and conveyor belts for more compact item sorting. In fact, you can even sort items by shared properties(like metadata, item type, block type, ect.) then sort those to make nested item filtering wherein chests not only sort by item, but also by those similar item properties. This is useful if you want a miscellaneous chest nearby, but still want them to be semi-sorted according to the surrounding types.
note for anyone playing Create, theres a likelyhood chance that you wont be able to pick up the spawner contraption in your own world, the minecart still moves however, so if you have the time and patience, you can still bring multiple spawners to a centralized location, you just might want to set up a system that auto places and grabs rails before and after the cart, something like what tengo tek did in his Create playthrough. also this might not be an problem in modern Versions of Create, but 1.16.5 version does (im playing better MC mod with some added ones for taste) so have fun and making a super blaze farm in the nether or something. maybe use a map loader site to find Dungeons idk

I love how Mumbo only having two brainscells is canon now
One is for everyday life like eating and breathing, the other is just mincraft (mostly Redstone)
I would like to mention, when I first saw one of your videos I knew nothing about the create mod or redstone, but now, while watching your video in the background I made a 7 by 5 seamless mechanical piston door.
I've been playing with a friend with the Create mod and honestly it's so great. You can do a lot of really complex things with it yet it's really intuitive and easy to use with all the small tutorials it has in game for almost all mechanisms.
I've always kinda wanted Minecraft to be more like factorio and this is the first mod I've tried that implements that kind of thing while still feeling like Minecraft.

Deployers draw from any inventory on the contraption as long as you have the item you want it to place set as the filter and not just right clicked into the hand, so the saplings would auto refll it without the need for a hopper, also blast furnaces can be used with the furnace generator to quadruple its output, and finally hoppers will insert items into the top slot when placed on top and the fuel slot when placed on the sides so to automate that process dosent require create

When I heard "This is like something out of a James Bond film" my mind immediately went "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to get sorted!" Man, Gert Fröbe was a great Bond villain.

A good simple way to build an auto farm would be to use a vertical windmill bearing and make a line of placers and saws on two sides with the sails on the others. Then the farm works without need of rotational power and then you can use the portable storage connections to pull the inventory and then belts and such for item movement and filtering.
Next time you drop merch, you need to make a "two brain cells squad" design

I've heard rumors from one of Tango's streams that Mumbo and Grian are supposedly starting a server. No idea when they plan on starting (if Tango was right) or when we'd see the first video, but its something to look forward to.
Tango and Zed both said that no one else will be joining the server. They want it to only be them

Having seen tango make an infinite power generator with this mod, its pretty cool how different your version is. His doesn't need constant items to be smelted, but your's is pretty compact
The thing is, the one part of it that isn't compact, REALLY isn't compact... that skeleton spawn chamber is huge
@@Nat_the_Chicken Well, Mumbo did not actually bother to make it compact and just used a normal minecraft mob farm so it could easily be much more compact.

You can use item filters and conveyor belts for more compact item sorting. In fact, you can even sort items by shared properties(like metadata, item type, block type, ect.) then sort those to make nested item filtering wherein chests not only sort by item, but also by those similar item properties. This is useful if you want a miscellaneous chest nearby, but still want them to be semi-sorted according to the surrounding types.
I love create because it simplifies the way redstone is used but also expands the options of what’s possible
You should play some factorio even if it is just some messing around, seems like your sort of game

Tango Tek did this in his create mod playtrough, though he put the arms on the opposite side of the player so you could always access the chests

Every time I see mumbo jumbo in my notifications I just cry with relief knowing that I will not be bored for the next 15 minutes
note for anyone playing Create, theres a likelyhood chance that you wont be able to pick up the spawner contraption in your own world, the minecart still moves however, so if you have the time and patience, you can still bring multiple spawners to a centralized location, you just might want to set up a system that auto places and grabs rails before and after the cart, something like what tengo tek did in his Create playthrough. also this might not be an problem in modern Versions of Create, but 1.16.5 version does (im playing better MC mod with some added ones for taste) so have fun and making a super blaze farm in the nether or something. maybe use a map loader site to find Dungeons idk
