Also at the end to prevent overlapping you could have just added "data-dismiss="modal" to the send password link anchor tag.
So as soon as you click the forgot password, it will open up the new modal and dismiss its own i.e. old modal.

First of all, this lesson is not about Bootstrap rather the backend and AJAX. As far as Bootstrap is concerned, the version 4 uses flex box model which does not have good browser support. So, if you only want to target latest browsers, you can use Bootstrap 4. If you want to support wide range of browsers, go with Bootstrap 3.
