Wow. I am so impressed with Warplanner. I’ve been a player since the late 1970’s starting out with the Classic 3R. Then moved on to A3R some years later. But life got busy and it has been more than 20 years since I last played. I bought a copy of AWAW in 2015 but have been too busy for years to devote any time to exploring it. But with Warplanner, that will change. I’m blown away by the beauty and elegance of this online playing tool. How far we have come since the old PBM days 40+ years ago! I tip my hat to the programmers and graphics folks who put this together. What an obvious labor of love for such a wonderful, venerable game. 😀
Nice! A "Hall of Shame" included! On average... how much time (game turns expected by the other players) are you supposed to dedicate, per week, if you're playing AWAW through WP3? Thanks!
I'm not sure there's really an answer to that, because some players seem to be able to play really quickly, while others take longer (this may depend on Real Life factors, not only on how well you know the game). And of course expectations (which hopefully will be agreed to before starting) vary from game to game. In my convention game, I probably averaged an hour or two per day when it was the Axis turn to move.

"A World in Flames bot..." hilarious!
Impressive! How much does it cost, and where does one get it?
