This is a dream build, It is going to be an awesome 4x4 Campervan for serious off road camping... Also because I believe this car is going to be way more comfortable off road rather then on road.....
I am trying to acces the engine health in this video by changing the oil and then doing a compression test.
This is a HUUGE project so its quite critical if the engine is worn out as well... Lets see! Will it run !

@@SeasideGarage 🤣🤙 ...of course my moped isn't that quiet, being a 70cc DMP piston port E50, with matched case, and brand-new 15mm Bing with a high rev Fuego pipe. 🤣 ...A little quieter than most, because I use a slightly modified air box designed for a 14mm Bing.
That engine seems to be spot on. That would make an awesome day van.

I'm myself a Pole living in Denmark for a few years already and I'm considering bringing one of these in here! I've never imported a car though, are you planning to get it driving on the white plates? And how much the import tax could be for such beauty?

I had to abort the project because it was not possible to get white plates on it because it was a van in Lithuania... So its important to get one that is registered as a car and not a van.
The import tax is most likely not very much... :)
Well done! If the engine and general mechanicals are decent, and the rust is not terminal then I think you may have your camper van! The interior rebuild may involve more in the way of carpentry, wiring and furnishing than engineering stuff, and I've seen several vlogs here that show people doing this. One way might be recycling and renovating interior parts from a derelict caravan, which could save a lot of money and work.
If you can find a local affordable upholsterer they can do amazing things with old car seats and making bench seats for campers - they even fixed a torn and worn out seat on an old motorcycle I had when a replacement was no longer available.
I would really like to do as much as possible my self... And also, Upholsterer are VERY rare and expensive in Denmark....

Looks like there are no nasty surprises with the engine and that white stuff on the sump plug looked like plumbers P.T.F.E tape. Looking forward to some welding videos on the UAZ. Looks a great van Seppo.

Please help...we have 78 uaz 469b we did oil change and now light is on oil pressure Guage and it's reading no pressure

Between 4-5 liters. :)
The oil filter was fitted in the Jurassic period?

As far as I know this model of UAZ should have ZMZ-4021 engine and minimal acceptable compression for this engine is 800kPa or 116psi. So I would say yours in a pretty decent condition.

I think if I was you I would pull out that bung in the bell housing just to let out anything that is in there out before it contaminates the clutch.
