Horses watching at the horse market in Vlaen

On Whit Monday, the traditional horse trade is held in Heenvliet. Traders come to the Markt in Heenvliet early in the morning. The horses exchange the owner by means of the 'hand-to-blow'. The event with its fun fair and the Jaarmarkt attracts tens of thousands of visitors to the 2500-inhabitants town on Voorne-Putten.
