Couldn’t have said it better myself. As someone who isn’t black and isn’t part of the culture, the beef lead to me noticing so many awesome black creators I would have never had the chance to see because of the algorithm. It truly amplified black voices in a way that’s rarely seen and moved not just the culture, but the world’s culture. People in other countries were listening to Not Like Us and were making songs to that free Metro beat. That’s wild!
