We saw them in LA in 2022, it was an amazing concert, the best band and Axl holds the title of best Rock ‘n’ Roll singer in the world. Even now, not in his prime, he is amazing! And the 8 minute solo Slashed played is out of this world.
He did pretty good considering his age and how much he has ripped through those vocal chords in 40 years. This wouldn't be an easy song to sing and his vocal range is massive.

Personally, I do not need anymore albums. GnR rocks just the way their are. I have been a huge GnR fan since 1990, and I still love them just as I did in the beginning. I love it that they still tour. They deserve to earn money from touring, they've earned it. I hope that they'll keep on touring for many more years :)

I for one, would not be OK if Axl did that. Axl is still incredible, Live. It is unfair to judge his vocals from on-line recordings. This type of recordings does not do his vocals any justice.
My GnR tribute band recreates their music better than they do, sorry to say. They do not need two keyboard players. Richard Fortus is the best overall member in that band. i’ve been a fan of theirs since 1987. It is sad to see what they’ve become

They're obviously not as cool as they were in the 90', but from a person born in '97 like me, having the chance to see them live twice and shout out their best songs with thousands of other fans is priceless. Anyone have any legit info (not speculation or hearsay) on whether Axl ever physically damaged his vocal cords? Similar to how Tom Keifer paralyzed his left one years ago. Axl sounds like he has a handkerchief stuffed down his throat when he sings now. Age aside (we all already know he's older, so no need to point it out over and over) I am wondering if he ever "officially" actually paralyzed a vocal cord, or maybe had nodules removed, or something? He was always a perfectionist, so I'd image he is, but I do wonder whether he is, or to what extent. There's no way the way he sounds now would ever have made them famous the way it did the way he originally sounded. And even watching him physically sing now, compared to then, his whole face grimaces, while back then it looked effortless. I'm a singer myself and love to study the greats, so I like to delve into the technical aspects, that's why I'm asking everyone whether they know if he's ever officially put out there that he's had any damage/rehab on his throat.

@@Faithaven honestly there’s a number of other drummer that would-be capable. Ferrer isn’t terrible at times, he just doesn’t have that grove that is needed on songs like this
