Of all the styles, it is disco music that gives me an intelligent feeling of freedom and lightness, such as the ABBA and the Bee Gees. Especially Romeo and Juliet, which I spent hours listening to in circles in one breath, day after day. This is a masterpiece classic for the ages. Anyone who loves this music will never be vulgar.

First heard of Alec Constandinos back in high school in 1979, heard Romeo & Juliet & was hooked !....pure genius, mixing classical & disco. Still listening some 40 + yes later. I'm rocking Hunchback of Notre Dame as I type, my friends thought it was a passing fancy way back when...they appreciate it now...

I had this on vinyl when it first came out. Blew me away. It is a disco tone poem and sooooo well done. I think this ranks along side Gershwin's Rapsody in Blue. What Gershwin did for Jazz, he did for disco. It didn't get the recognition. But I get it. I get it.

I just listened to a rare interview he did in Miami back in 2011. Alec is an absolute one of a kind genius when it comes to music. Wow!!!! He is top shelf lol. 🥰🥰🥰

I have some of them vinyls. Romeo-juliet my fave. How much i love you huntchbach sphynx. I take care of them as relics and yes, my turntable is outdated but works!!! The best music!!!!!

Да!!! И так врезалась в мозг, что я последние 2 года искал это произведение на просторах интернета и безуспешно. Я не мог передать музыку, а по описанию никто не понимал что я хочу. I actually recorded this direct from the vinyl! 👍I also scanned the cover art of it myself, I had to do it in two sections and join them in photoshop because my scanner was too small lol
@@UrsusCanis True story. Years ago I worked at DHL in Port Chester New York my mother worked at the DHL office in Norwalk Connecticut. Before CDs were invented I gave my vinyls to someone in her office to transfer to audio cassette. He left the company and took all my vinyls with him. About several or more years ago he finds me on Facebook and sent them all back to me via FedEx. 25-30 years later.

@@salrodriguez1959 except a block away years ago somebody discarded a working technique turntable I connected to my laptop and using a free program was able to transfer to MP3. Someone also discarded a working cassette tape deck as I did the very same thing.
U still can't buy this on an official CD.
