Hey bud, you'd want to flush it in reverse. Put the garden hose in the output and have it drain out from the input. its to help agitate whatever is inside the core to have it go the oposite way from normal flow. Also, take a look at Waterless Coolant by Evans. And make sure you are running distilled water instead of tap water to prevent corrosion.

We were in good coats, but we stayed warm enough to go the top speed of 55mph the entire way. We even stopped and help some people out, who ran out of coolant in their car and needed a place to warm up. Being a soft top, I was really impressed.
