I'm glad this tutorial has helped so many of you who are learning how to crochet! If you prefer to read from a written pattern with pictures, you can find that here: thispixiecreates.com/how-to-crochet-reusable-cotton-face-pads-beginner-tutorial/ 😊
As a full on knitter, and having been taught recently to crochet, I saw one other how to video and was stumped even how to do the magic circle. Was doing it along with you, very clear. First one not perfect, too loose, but will try another now. Thank you.
Thank you so much!! I watched quite a few and still didn't get it! Your tutorial was easy to follow and I completed one with only having to rewind once!!
Thank you Dayna for sharing your talents and your tutorial. Do you possibly have a tutorial for a basket to put put these awesome facial pads to give a set as a gift? Thank you for sharing!💖
Aww you're welcome Ginny! I'm so glad you enjoyed the tutorial. A basket is a great idea, but unfortunately, I don't have a tutorial or pattern for one. I found this small basket tutorial from @createwithjenn that might be perfect: ruclips.net/video/UFnVO19xqa4/видео.html. :)
Thanks Kay! I'm glad you liked it. These face pads can be machine washed, but I would recommend washing them on a delicate cycle, and laying them flat to dry (no dryer).
Hi Monil! I used an 8.0mm crochet hook, but you can use any size hook with any cotton yarn you have. The only thing to note is that this may change the size of your face pad. I hope this helps. :)
Hi Coco, mercerized cotton is great. I think it would make your face pads really durable! I would definitely give it a try if you have Monaco mercerized cotton yarn on hand. :)
