This is Benin history, the pride of civilization. Many have forgotten their ancestral heritage. But it shouldn’t be so. Knowledge of the past is what paves the way for an excellent future.
I believe I speak for many when I say thank you so much Chief Osemwengie Ebohon. Thanks to you and your organization for not only documenting the Bini history for prosperity, but also for keeping it well alive for education and discussion.
YES! They are entertaining us with music and also directly educating us of our culturing heritage. Long Live Edo Kingdom, Long Live Federal Republic of Nigeria
Greetings ! Much thanks for this Dr, Osemwegie Ebohon was a guest of EGBE ONISIN ELEDUMARE of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago in 1987 at which time he introduced and established OLOKUN in that country
My people i mean Edo's we should be ashamed of urself not to put the remembrance of our great ancestor's whom were killed by the British imperialism for resisting them. But we prefer to be preaching their inductrination language and their inductrinated religion Christianity. We are surposed to remember them every year by putting on our ancestry clothes on and cry out to the world every year. And teach them to our children from generations to generations. Thank you.
Oba Ovonramwen was not killed by the British. He was exiled to Calabar in 1897 with his two wives and died a natural death in Calabar in 1914. He (as a matter of fact) lived a royal life till he died because he was highly respected both by the British and the people of Calabar. A popular market was named in his honor called the Oba market in Calabar
EDORISIAGBON WE SAY OVER AND OVER AGAIN. if in this we stand then we must put away our anger for it only yield pain and agony for vengiance. it is in forgiveness and unity that we would beging reaping the fruit of our land.

Right
Yes. I agree.
Did you mean - deliberate or celebrate?
What for achievement?
