- I LOVE the Penny’s Box BJD’s so I'm excited to experience my first ADOU series ones!! These dolls are SO UNIQUE with their dragon bodies and super gorgeous faces. The blushing all over the dolls was so cute to me and the clothing really blew me away. I am so glad to add another wonderful line of dolls from Penny's Box to my collection! Thank you SO MUCH to @kikagoods for sending me these dolls for free so that I could make this video!

The dragons are tempting me soo much especially the silly little dragon claw... Also it's pretty interesting that the makeup on these seems pretty subdued and minimal compared to other similar chinese bjds I've seen
Yup you can describe eastern dragon claws looking like griffins claws, in ancients text eastern dragon described as a beast that looks like a combination of animals, a serpentine tail, head like a camel, eyes like a rabbit, ears like a cow, horns like a deer antlers, scales like a carp, belly like a stacked clams, with a tiger paws and eagle claws.
Ohhh thank you for telling me! I can definitely tell from artwork that they’ve got that mammalian “beast” vibe a lot as opposed to how reptilian some other cultures’ dragons tend to be!

I was looking forward to your dollect anniversary video, but honestly this is even better! I love your Chinese art box bjd videos so much. My favorite was def the antu dreamlike tea party centaurs. It influenced me to buy my second doll, who ended up being light dream and I loved her!

@@xCanadensis if you do it carefully you will never hurting this precious dragons, since the wire is inside the dolls with the elastics, there's some good tutorials about it in RUclips as well.
I want to get these and wire them. I can't express how much I love the designs, but the articulation is quite limiting to me. I definitely think it's worth the hassle to wire the dolls.
Penny's Box can do no wrong, they hit it out the park every time smh. Adou, I'm also not particularly into the other BJDs but they do have really adorable plushie lines 🥰

I love those! The only thing that keeps me from buying them is the “hair.” I like rooted hair. I can’t wait for the tiny fox konid witch doll from kika. I’m def getting her when she’s on preorder if possible. She’s got rooted hair. I might put cute wigs on the dragon figures if I get them…
I completely understand this! I’ve seen some of these BJD companies answer questions on their Chinese socials from fans who want actual hair so I’m very curious if they’ll start implementing it? There’s definitely interest in it even with the main audience!
@@xCanadensis well what’s great is I researched and found a company in cali who sells a head piece that makes their heads round so you can wig em. It works for all penny box dolls so I bought the full set of the mermaids and six head pieces and researching wigs now tho… I’m getting the dragon set very soon if I like the penny box mermaids. 🧜♀️

You don’t have to have a huge doll collection to watch other doll content! One of my fave RUclipsrs posts about Cabbage Patch dolls a lot and I don’t even like those a bit but I just enjoy their videos aha! Collecting is a personal journey and these reviews are meant to be entertaining and informative!

$40 is too much to spend on a doll that you don't even know which one you are getting.
If everyone was able to get them for free, like you, then great! Otherwise, Kikagoods is overpriced plastic, and blind bag style purchasing is lame, imo.
I pay for them too and my reviews for paid ones before I even knew they did gifting are just as positive. They’re cool dolls. Every doll or toy is lame, overpriced plastic to someone and a gem to someone else. These are art toys and I enjoy them but you don’t have to. This comment has really weird energy. Look at all the comments from people who also love these. Kikagoods doesn’t even make them… they’re a distributor.
