As the saying goes Leigh, comparison is the thief of joy and it's this comparison of having to get 'that' shot which leads to disappointment and even trouble is you mention if the video. Great shots as usual mate and a great spot. Take care, Steve.
Thanks mate! I've definitely found over the years that to get the enjoyment out of photography that will keep your interest and stop it becoming "forced" is you have to try and ignore the pressure of the socials and stick to experimenting with your own style and compositions. In a world where the best of the best is laid out before you it can be tough but shooting just for "you" is definitely the best way and ignore the heavily curated feeds of the top tier photographers that never ever show you their failures!
Hi Leigh There were again beautiful photos, although I also thought there were some that showed softness. Going black and white or color is sometimes quite a difficult choice. Anyway, you've had a nice time in the mountains again.👍
I think the softness was down to the conditions - it was amazingly hazy and yet with harsh light. I actually took one shot three times to make sure and it still came out the same! Was still a great day in the mountains though - and those views never get old!
Stunning scenery Leigh what a beautiful day you had, great photos black and white look nice 😊
Thank you John! Definitely picked the right day I think - the haze just added to the scene but those views are definitely right up there!
You got some great images! They look great in both black and white and in color. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you! Do love the Langdale Valley for those views!
Wonderful experience that i would love to do one day 😅 your b&w photos are amazing!!!
Thank you so much!! The mountains are just amazing for photography and the views are stunning!
Very good photos again Leigh. I never take the perfect shot. Don't have a portfolio. Only take my photos for recording history.
Thank you Robert!
