They are stupid expensive, but if you google "Rear Disc Brake Bracket EZGO Lifted Carts" you will see a bunch of them listed. Cheapest I could find is still over $50. You could probably get good quality ones machined for cheaper than that.
they work... but that's about it... better then brake shoes but not like real disc brakes.... oh and the brake pads are very small and thin and cost like 125.00 bucks...... Just use the kit and when you need to replace the pads just install a set of SxS calipers, brake lines and a master and you will have real disc brakes and work and will last forever!
Oh no - I haven't had to replace these yet. That's a big concern of mine because normal shoes aren't that expensive at autozone, etc. And you used get a lifetime warranty.
@@AndiWofford well... they won't wear down that fast... it will give you several years without needing to replace them.... but when you do I would look into doing the real brake calipers..... you can buy 2 calipers with the pads for about 20 bucks... you just will have to mount them to the mounting bracket... add the brake lines and master cyl... once you are done... the pads cost about 15.00 buck to replace. My worry is they are hard to find the pads today... not to mention the 125.00 price... I think they will discontinue them someday and then you will have no choice..... as to doing it... the only problem is the thickness of the rotors... the sxs calipers won't slide over the rotors.. so you have two choices... buy a caliper with a wider opening to slide over the rotor. or do what I did... take off the rotors and have them machined down so the sxs calipers slide over the rotor.
How are they holding up? Do they have any rust now?
No rust so far, but I do think they're wearing faster than I expected. The replacement cost is insane compared to traditional brakes I'm told.
Where did you get the break cable extensions?
