Apparently Austin committed to completing a number of songs before retiring from the group. I recall seeing somewhere that he would still be working with duets and other collaborations. From all the wistful reactions to his change of direction he must certainly know how much he continues to be appreciated.

That was such a great remake of this song! Nice to hear Chance singing some of the lines. Always loved Tim's crazy low notes along with his fabulous highs. Also love Adam's cool percussion sounds in this version too.
There are some older live versions of this song that are very funny.
Austin has left by now, but there will be at least one more video with him, if not two, before the first video with their new member Adam Bell-Bastien (called Bastien, pronounced Basteen) will be released. They've already filmed it and it's probably in the editing process. From what I can tell he will be a good fit.
Loved that they gave Chance a part in this version, instead of only Tim like they've done in the past. It changes the usual routine up and Chance is an awesome bass as well.
That grooved wooden instrument that Adam imitiates is called a guiro. It's used a lot in Latin music.

Home Free has been singing this song for forever, but I really love this version. I think because Chance can cover bass while Tim leads, and then Chance gets to lead as well.

Anything except the singing is done by the beat boxer Adam Rupp. He does make some interesting sounds.

It sounds like a Latin percussion hand held instrument called a guiro, like exactly like the instrument. The Ruppster never fails to thrill.

Austin has left the group, but this video was filmed prior to his departure.
They are releasing 2 more videos that will have Austin in them the first one to released on Friday called Champagne Taste ( On A Beer Budget) 2024 version
Austin has left the group a lot earlier than expected and Adam Bastien Aka Bastien ( Bass teen ) has taken his place.
Bastien used to sub for one of the tenors when Home Free first started and also was a member of Chris Rupp's group 7th Ave
Bastien did his first concert with Home Free at the Country Rumble Fest in Lima,Ohio June 21 and The Grand Ol Opry June 22 and he did amazing
They now have 3 Adam’s in the group so they opted to be called by last names less confusing that way.
They filmed a video in Nashville with Bastien now we wait for it to be released.
Home also released a welcome video it on RUclips now called Adam Bastien’s First Weekend.

Austin is leaving the group. He just got married recently and wants to stay home and start a family so he’s leaving. HF already has a replacement in Bastien (Bass-teen). He was going to leave in the fall but its been bumped up to July. Anyway, yeah Tim’s been blessed with a 5 octave range and he was using some of it here. Tim and Chance killed it. Loved the video. You’ve been blessed with a nice voice and a great accent!
