Archer clearly knows his way around a dartboard. That 126 he nearly nailed would have been spectacular. And then Tony Green feels the need to explain to him how to check out 25 lmao
that was harsh, there should have been another crack at the bull and kept going until one had a definite error. Great challenge otherwise and for crying out loud, bring this show back!
TBH I think he was fortunate to get a chance at nearest the bull. Remember the challenge was to complete the game in less arrows which he failed as they used the same amount.
They have just announced a reboot of you bet,it will only be 2 episodes for now and will star holly willoby and Steven molhorn, they will air in October
This episode of YB! aired on ITV on 18 September 1992 - at this time the show was on Friday night rather than Saturday night. And not having Challenge, I wonder what the forfeit was that Jessica had to do?
Tony 'bless him' should not have been telling the archer what to go for (ie) after the bull attempt he should just said 25 left...after saying that l wouldn't be surprised if the archer could 'play' the counting game'..he wouldn't have gone for treble 19 on 107 if he couldn't!
Sad to read Simon died aged 47 earlier this year of cancer.

Bring back you bet and fun house
Now thats a brilliant idea 💡
Well done Uncle Graham.....you are awesome!

jakamneziak yeah I agree with that....also I’m replying 11 years on lol 😂
In fairness, the archer was getting extra help.
The guy keeping the darts score was telling him what singles & doubles to hit !

Slightly unsatisfying, this, because it's basically an absolute dead heat. But very enjoyable as You Bet! always was.
#CHALLENGEUK MEET THE BULLSEYE 🇬🇧
I was but a 6 year old lad back in 92 but I do remember this show and that fantastic head of hair on Matthew lol.
For an interesting and original challenge, I think it was unfair that Simon couldn't take use 3 arrows and take them out to reuse.

#CHALLENGEUK MEET THE DART 🇬🇧
I think someone should bring this show back perhaps with Graham Norton as host just a surgeon if anyone is reading this
Be aware that this is the episode after the episode where the boy idenitfied 20 underground stations
George Potts - Archery Olympics, Tony Green - Bullseye have come to support the players in the Challenge. Simon Terry must defeat the Dart's Player.
Eleven Darts Each and it's nearest to the Bull to win.

She had to plough a very large field using a manual plough
*fewer arrows
I thought Mathew kelly was a bacon or is that r Kelly or both 😬
