I've been a reseller sine year 2000 just in my spare time, yes ebay has changed massively in that time not all for the better but I still love the thrill of the chase at boot sales etc and to see what i can make a few quid on., im 59 end of July and going to go full time ebay reseller in August as ive always been wanting to for the last 20 years, can't wait.. BTW love the videos I'm always learning after 23 years and learnt from yourself too, good luck with your business.

Hi Jon, recently just went down the rabbit hole of watching all your vids, a good idea for a video would be like a beginners guide into reselling, so the obvious ones you pick up that most people would spot, me and my girlfriend always go car boots, but have never thought to re sell, anyway great videos! Always learning!

I sell a mix of things like funko pops, figures and mainly books paperbacks plus hardbacks I bubble wrap everything . Never trust post and hardbacks can dent easily so even if if goes in padded mailer always bubble wrap it still before sending as be classic damage or refund otherwise

Respect bro your doing well, but you need to automate where possible, auto label printer on payment, some 5S. Arrange RM collection mon to sat, Ask Evri for an account and collection. It will put hours back into your day for sourcing

quick question. Have you ever tried dropshipping? i have tried it and seem to have seen multiple amounts of issues which you just wouldnt have such as tracking issues, Account banning issues, the price of software needed for dropshipping. I mean the tracking issues is the main one. Im tempted to go down your road and physically get products rather than list it first, then buy. I have had more luck with that side of it.

Jon have you a video explaining how to start a eBay business like the tax and what you need to do being self employed. I would love to do it but I don’t know where to start. I’ve sold over 200 items but auction and cheap but I want to do buy it now and make more money, but I don’t want to over sell and get the taxman after me.
It’s hard to do a video on that as I’m not an accountant. I can always touch on a few things but ultimately you should look into speaking to an accountant. If you type in on RUclips eBay reseller taxes there should be a few good bits and live streams with accountants.

How does vinted not kick you off for cross listing john as your not supposed to be able to sell on the platform as a reseller ? That's why I've not used it.
I only sell a handful of stuff on there, I mainly crosslist to other platforms depop, Etsy etc
