@@highcountryoverland Well, you have a point there. I guess in between your overlanding trips, you likely don’t use your truck bed for work or to haul stuff. My 1st impression was you have almost enough stuff for a ‘garage’ sale. Lol 😂! Always better to be well prepared. I’m just in the planning stages to set up my Hilux pick up. Enjoy!
Great rig- how close to your OCCC are you with all that gear? I’m struggling to get everything in at want and stay within my 1491lbs of cargo carrying capacity on my F150
Dude. I’m really not sure what all this weighs but I’m sure it exceeds the OCCC, especially packed with my entire family and all their camping gear. No problems so far! 🤞
Couple questions Any leakage issues? How well did the Prinsu cap/cab rack line up height wise? C.B. Antenna mount. Any clearance issues when opening and closing tailgate or cap door? Who made the mount? Everything looks good . I’ll have to check out your kitchen set up video.
Hey man. I’ve had no leakage issues with the cap, only some leakage with the tailgate of the truck. The Prinsu TopRack on the SmartCap is a couple inches higher. It’s the Victory 4x4 antenna mount. It doesn’t interfere with any of the doors opening. I hope this helps!
Did RSI update their lock system? It appears that they’re different than the videos I’ve seen where the lock mechanism would freeze and make inaccessible.
Hello. The locks are the same but I’ve added their free latch covers. Shoot them an email and they’ll mail you the covers. The covers are supposed to keep moisture out so they don’t freeze.
Here you go: SUV Upgraded Car Ceiling Storage... www.amazon.com/dp/B09B1Y7F4S?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. Thanks for letting me know. I’ll add it to the description.
This is the exact setup I want to do. Awesome man. Looks great. What stiffeners are you using I want the drawers on the decked system to not interfere or have to cut them down or something.
I just added the RSI Smart cap to my F150 and it leaks super bad. Its leaking on the seals for the from and rear panels. It's torqued correct and the seals are installed correct. Its very disappointing!
Damn dude. What’s does RSI say? I’m on year 2 without leaking but it sounds like we installed it the same way. Maybe RSI needs to send you new seals? Sorry man.
@@highcountryoverland With further investigation, it looks like it’s not the seals on the cap that are leaking on the front and rear . There’s some sealant putty in the corners where the rail is it’s coming through there and then running down the rail on the inside it constantly drips and my whole bed is soaked. I’m in Phoenix and it’s been raining nonstop for two days. Looking at it, it looks like the factory didn’t get that putty in the proper locations. I’m gonna go to the auto parts store more and seal it. It’s been a bad experience. I ordered the adventure model cap because I want the MOLLE panels. They accidentally sent me the sport model which has known problems with the windows leaking. The part number on the box was the correct part number, but what was in the box was not the right part. It looks like RSI is fixing this. I’m thinking I’ll get you doors after Christmas. This whole thing is not been very satisfying so many problems.
@@highcountryoverland I’m glad to know yours doesn’t leak that gives me hope that I can fix mine. Yesterday I was about ready to take it off and threw it on craigslist for sale.
@@highcountryoverland I thought maybe the leaking was coming from the corners I did some testing where I put water just in the middle and it was still leaking. It’s like a sprinkler head inside of my smart cap. I’ve completely loosened everything up, re-torqued everything it’s exactly per the manual and it leaks like crazy. It’s so disappointing. I have photos and an email off to RSI. Hopefully they’ll make this right. I have found some other RUclips videos where people are complaining about this, so it’s not an isolated incident. I might do a RUclips video on this and show my experiences. But I want to let RSI have the chance to make this right first.
Wow! The amount of stuff you packed into your truck bed is incredible!
Haha! Thanks. It helps me not forget anything since it’s always there!

Love your rig and how it’s organized. It would be cool if you could share list of names of items you use
Ok. I’ll try to get a list together with more reviews.
Would love to see wider shots of your rig in future videos!
You got it!

Do you know what length those m8 eyebolts are? Also what size is that net?
Link to the netting inside the cap? I went back through your last few videos and don't see a link.

Yeah the Decked+SmartCap combo is awesome. So many storage configuration possibilities.
Is that a smartcap full bin on the right or DIY?
It’s a SmartCap full bin. Check out my kitchen build videos! ruclips.net/video/WRaYpSMeRUs/видео.html
Nice, just ordered one myself, very excited, definitely taking notes on your setup and kitchen
It’s the best truck mod I’ve done!
