Old AC games had really cool uncharted type set pieces which just don’t exist in the new games. The closest thing I can of as a set piece in Valhalla was maybe the bridge in Asgard but even then it’s built in an open world way where you have all this freedom for the player. And player freedom is well and good but sometimes linearity is also great to push your story and the character forward
Homie,if anything the new ac games give u more of this because they allow u to literally uncover secrets of pagan religions and relieve events of said religions.

You have to find the different trinkets for "Peg Leg", the guy at the end of the docks on the homestead. This one requires all of the trinkets I believe.

To answer a couple of questions (w/o tagging your name, sorry, confounded RUclips comments section) : You can find the treasure chests indicated on the map for this mission. Each mission is unlocked by finding Trinkets around the world map--you can buy a map in the general stores that marks the locations of Trinkets, but not all are easy to get too. Fortunately there are tutorials around here to help you find the exact locations of the trickier ones. Good luck!

Best Side Quest Ever Play.
This reminds me of one of the worst parts about AC3, which is the fact that there is so much great side content that no one knows about that really takes the game and uplifts/gives it a new life. Things like this mission, ship quests, or even the homestead expansions stuff should of been a part of the main storyline, and not hidden behind a 50+ Easter egg hunt.
Logan Denton exactly. AC3 is very underrated even tho the story is effy. The side missions and the first ac to play in a ship. If only my ps3 was still working I would play this game again since I still have it here in my closet.

No, my point was that the devs put this content behind a 7-13 hour grind of searching instead of just making it apart of the main storyline, and as it stands they could of done it as the content flesh's out Conner really well and gives incite to story as a whole.
@@logandenton6467 AC3 has several pacing issues in this regard. The worst is when you spend the whole intro playing as haytham, then playing young connor, and when you finally get the assassin's robe, you get back to Desmond. But it's only a first time playthrough problem.

Yeah playing as haytham was cool, but it made the introduction way to long. There are random times were I think 'maybe I should play some AC3 it's fun mid game,' but then I remember it's like a 3 hour intro at the least, and I can't find the interest to jump through those hoops, so I end up playing 2, brotherhood or Revelations.
I remember playing haytham, and being so confused because they advertise it as a colonial AC with "epic" stealthily tree climbing moments of badass, but then haytham comes in before the war and can't climb a tree to save his life.
AC3 feels like they tried to make a linear game, and then quit a fourth of the way through.
I just realized that Connor's voice actor sounds uncannily like Android 17.

Look forward to AC:Rogue instead. Gameplay wise, it's what AC3 should have been. I recommend playing AC3 before Rogue tho, as it makes you appreciate certain characters more.

Because connor knew where he was at yet it is documented factialy that the northwest passage was SAID to have not existed (but ultimately did).
There is theoretically a northwest passage, but the only vehicles to get through it are subs. If Al Gore is right, we’ll have a convenient new shipping lane pretty soon...

No sidequest. To unlock it you have to collect trinkets then show it to a man that has a trinket mark on top of his head he'll give you the mission if you collect would suffice.
