This Blazer makes me want to relive my youth when I put a 383 stroker in my 1986 S-10 with a 6 speed. Learned to weld and fabricate on it doing my own 4 link ford 9". Took me years to build but helped set me up for the life I have now. I'm both electrical and mechanical engineer and unlike so many I build what I design for my job and fix industrial equipment. My main toolbox is 73" top and bottom with locker on both side and a 36" service cart with a side cabinet too. The little S-10 got me on my path and it was done before the LS days the S-10 was still a newer truck. It'd be a good project for my son and I. Awesome video y'all!

Video makes me miss my Jimmy. I had that truck for 11 years and then one year the calipers froze, the key ignition stopped functioning. I'd get stuck in parking lots for a good chunk of time looking like I'm trying to hot wire the car. Eventually, I met the old ball and chain and we needed a vehicle that would reliably get us home. I traded her(not my wife) in for a 2010 Jeep Wrangler, loved that one too but it was such a PITA with electrical problems, I rigged relays eventually to get everything working proper. Anyways like Taylor Ray would say, "I'm Jibber-Jabbering". Fun video boys, can't wait to see this Black Beauty hit the track.

Considering James didn't even bother using safety squints, let alone glasses and some hearing protection while cutting the van, safety is somewhere around 3rd or 4th on the list at Cleet's shop.

Gotta say I did not care for George while he was on FasterProms YT but it seems like he has become way more tuned down and giving us some classic content. I really like George now... he seems at home.
I was the exact same way didn't really care for him when he worked at faster proms and think he's great now
@@parma-sean I think you also have to keep the age differences and overall goals/tones of the respective shops. His previous employer is a much more toned down environment that serves as more of a “garage/information channel”, where as Cleetus (while he and his guys obviously know what they’re doing), has been more about entertainment. Notice that Cleetus will even interrupt James when his descriptions start to get technical.
It’s simply a matter of different strokes for different folks. I do hope that George’s talents as a mechanic are also showcased.

You're supposed to mount those can crushers horizontally so the can falls out and goes right into the trash can or whatever you're collecting them in.

@@--_DJ_-- See the open spot at the bottom in the side mounted against the beam? That weakend the design, that would be pointless unless it was a feature, the feature is there so the cans drop after they are crushed. As previously stated so you're not sticking your hands in it after crushing a can.
