Pyridoxal Phosphate (PLP), an essential metabolism cofactor derived from Vitamin B6, is involved in many chemical transformations. This video summarizes the most important ones and shows how to write the curved arrow mechanisms for these transformations.

I only need a quick draw of a schiff base PLP bound enzyme with Lysine in the active site. But your overall video was excellent to the point that I need. Perfect! Productive!
At 4:41 on the third structure PLP you can see you're missing a hydrogen on the lysine-bound enzyme that the base is supposed to be taking. Cheers.

At 23:14, shouldn't the N of the schiff base be deprotonated by water to complete imine formation? Also, why exactly is it favored for CO2 to deactivate rather than for the alpha carbon to be deprotonated? Wouldn't you achieve the same results with either approach?
