Started the game yesterday with the intention of playing through it without going for the platinum, so with assist on. Now that I see your walkthrough, I might start over (will save my progress though for when it would get too difficult, like Evil West). Looking forward to cheesing bosses 🙂.

Finally a guide XD I got the platinum a while ago by just reading that you can skip all side quests on one run and the other do the sidequests and choose the correct dialogue and without using the main health replenish item. Real sad that the 1hit weapons become available so late as they seem fun to play with. Great video here man! 🙂
You seen how we kill that 2nd miniboss here in the Factory, thats pretty much how simple all fights are now. Kinda cheese everything from the start pretty much, no endgame build required ;) We're doing 1 playthrough here. Quick playthrough for no healing, then turn on assist and clean the rest up.

I got used to the parry mechanic so parry all I could I even used the flame wheel for a bit its good for parry and leaves enemies on fire its attacks are too slow so yet again used it only as a parry weapon that and claws til the end claws I maxed out as they are super quick and after rapid attacks enemies go into stagger state. Its a good game just bs that there is no ng+ it sort of nullifies all builds and weapons as it'll end at the end and that it

Glad to see this getting some attention. I'm a big fan of 3/4 of the Spiders games I've played (Bound by Flame, Greedfall, and this, didn't like Technomancer) and I enjoyed this game a lot. I tried to platinum this last month I did 4 full playthroughs And I can't figure out no matter what how to get the (FRIEND OF THE PEOPLE) Ttrophy to pop, I know watching all your guides you've gotten around a lot of trophies and you always find ways to get around stuff and help me grab the platinum, So I wanted to ask you if you are aware of this trophy being very buggy and glitchy and knew any way around making sure that it will work and pop? I hope so and can't wait to watch Brother👍👍👍🏆🏆
Even with the updates downloaded, you still keep running into trouble?? What do you think is going on, have you noticed anything which I should keep an eye out for or look into further?
@@Optinooby Yeah I talked to another guy that did a platinum walk through about a year ago and he had trouble also back then with this one trophy and I told him this was a year later that I was trying it after all the updates and yeah he just said wow I can't believe they never went back and fixed it, it's just really buggy. Now I did talk to someone on Reddit about a week ago and they said they had to go back to a couple of NPC'S And they finally got it to work, But when you get so far in the game you can't travel back after you go to a certain point, So I was going to go back and check it out but I was already at that point so I couldn't fast travel back so I had to finish the game and I'll have to start NGPLUS #5 lol But it is what it is! Anyway yeah there's 18 town people you have to talk to and some people say they've had trouble like I have getting certain N PC's to talk or Somehow register because it doesn't save or record after you talk to these npcs Or you don't see the save icon after you talk to these people I'm pretty sure. From what I've heard and haven't tried yet is there seems to be an issue with the place to get the Doctor's tools and people have went back to that person later before finishing the game and there was some extra dialogue there and their trophies popped there but I haven't tried it because I'm gonna have to do a NG plus again, hopefully you'll be ok but Yeah the people you talk to sometimes the audio fades in and out and you just gonna have to make sure that you get all the dialogue through but like I said you don't really see the save icon so you don't really know that it actually saved ,But after you bleed the dialogue there's nothing else you can do but move on to the next one. But This is the only game that I can't platinum because of a trophy being glitchy and buggy But I'm still willing to do some more if I can get it done And I don't give up easybut like I said a couple of people did right me back and told me they finally got it to work but they had to go back and talk to all 18 people and make sure all the dialogues were done and one in particular had extra dialogue that wasn't there from the beginning so hopefully we'll be okay and let me know if you need anything, thanks for writing back..👍👍

you will need to buy grenades, but thats much much later. For now health and stamina and the power increasing stat. We get a module later which makes your weapon heavily scale with power

The platinum is maybe a 4/10 or pushing up to a 5/10 with this guide. I wouldnt say the game is anything fantastic, but free on Plus, free Platinum with my guide, so why not ;)
Because Souls or Soulslikes are my most favorite Genre i buyed this game day one cause i didnt have anything else left to play in this Genre BUT at Release it was sooo bugged ! Freezing and framerate Drops to maybe 5 frames ...pretty unplayable !! Is it playable Now ?! Do you play it on Plaisy ?! And one more question, there are no i frames if i recall correctly ?! And as always, thanx for your great work with this guides ...

Wow, very nice! No one had made a good guide for this one yet. A shame on XBox it takes a few runs to complete it. I believe on PlayStation you can make a backup save somewhere and save a lot of time?
@@Optinooby you can only reliably backup a few minutes on XBox since there's no way to disable autosync to the cloud like on PlayStation. I believe in this game you do a backup about halfway through? No way to make it work on XBox sadly. It works in games like Lies of P where you just need to go back before a boss fight for example.
@@SiegfriedX When online, it backs up every time you load up and every 15 mins while in game I think. You can stop it uploading or downloading by turning off network. It will always upload if the system save is newer, and it will always download if the system save is older. To backup on Xbox manually, you wait for the game to backup wherever you want it. Then you go offline. Now do what you want to do, then once ready, DELETE the game save on the system and then go back online. Now you have no saves, the online save will now be considered the newest save and so it will download automatically. There is no time limit because you do it while offline!
@@Optinooby not really something I advise people to do because of the way XBox One handles achievements. It should go to a queue to unlock as soon as you get online, but people (myself included) had varying results over time doing that. Sometimes they unlock, sometimes it's like you never did them. Doing it that way there's a risk you end up with nothing to show in the end.
How would you compare the game to say - Lies of P? I mean, there are quite a few and an increasing amount of soulslike games that are maybe a bit questionable. It does look interesting though, just wondered what you think of this one.
Its not as good as Lies of P, that is a great game. This is good, and worth a play. Personally I wouldnt pay full price for it, but cant complain with it coming to Plus. It can be hard, but if you follow me, shouldnt have too much trouble and we will be enabling assist mode nearer the end ;)

I platinumed Demon Souls not long ago thanks to your guide, the white and black world tendency was so confusing at first, but you explained it well in your guide.
I just started my first playthrough and I picked the alchemist as my first class. Any tips for weapons that I can use? Also besides Elemetal damage and Engineering. What should be my third stat to invest in? I figured vigor maybe?

I got both module keys but apparently when I collected the one in the field it never did register after that big delay. And then I died so I guess it never got added to my inventory; when we got to the part where we were unlocking the slots I only had the one picked up from the unstable guy. Since it's only like 8 minutes in I think I'll just restart to get back to that point. I don't want to already be behind that quick lol.
When im attacking the bosses i just keep getting stuck with the red line in my stamina for ages while your just spamming attacks and still getting the option to replenish with Triangle would of helped if you explained that a little bit
Not all, but some are related to quests, and i cant say for sure which may or may not impact characters. And because of the tricky endings, just take what i take and everything should work out the same. I dont wanna say i know every single outcome because I dont, but I know this route will work and get everything done in 1 playthrough ;)
Getting use to boss attacks and this clanky fighing is hard to do. I platinum Greedfall and read this was Spiders version of it, but it's not! Is there a ranged class and why are we not playing it if there is? I had 4 heal potions used one on boss then died and the game stole the rest!
Damn this is hard. Get to the boss fight and are killed very fast. Can't seem to avoid the boss and run out of stamina very fast. Then a long run back and no Oil for healing. Just finished Spider Man 2 for Platinum but this seems harder. Tried saving before going into the boss fight but it just sends me back to the save point when reloading. Quite stupid
How are you regenerating the blue alchemical capsules during combat? As soon as my 5 shots are spent, that's the gun done for me but you so.ehow get them back? 10:05
i said at one point that if you run out, you must kill enemies for more and loot them, or but from the shop. We wont be using them after this part, so its only here on thus 1st boss really

@@richardslamps4347 Yea some really weird combat decisions in this game, I hate that jumping uses stamina as well. So annoying when you go to do a jump and you fall down because u had no stamina
We finish the game and turn on assist mode (invincibility) at the end of part 8, so im thinking 4 or 5 parts is plenty of time to run around and clear up everything else
I've platinumed Bloodborne and every Dark Souls game, and I can't even beat the first Unstable Lancer. The combat in this game sucks, especially the stamina system.
I know its stupid, it gets worse when you run towards end of a balcony to perform a jump, but end up falling off because your stamina ran out xD There is a module later which makes it so dodge and jump dont use stamina, but its kinda at the end, part 7 we get it maybe

I just started this lol watched the opening cutscene and started looking for a guide cuz i heard there's a lot of missable trophies with this one.

No dont worry mate, we have a few to spare, you get quite a lot extra of those actually.

Spiders made this and greedfall, and yes, the game doesnt get any better

Just finished Spider Man 2 for Platinum but this seems harder. Tried saving before going into the boss fight but it just sends me back to the save point when reloading. Quite stupid
How are you regenerating the blue alchemical capsules during combat? As soon as my 5 shots are spent, that's the gun done for me but you so.ehow get them back? 10:05
i said at one point that if you run out, you must kill enemies for more and loot them, or but from the shop.
We wont be using them after this part, so its only here on thus 1st boss really

@@richardslamps4347 Yea some really weird combat decisions in this game, I hate that jumping uses stamina as well. So annoying when you go to do a jump and you fall down because u had no stamina

We finish the game and turn on assist mode (invincibility) at the end of part 8, so im thinking 4 or 5 parts is plenty of time to run around and clear up everything else

It's not easy lol. That first mini boss was kicking my but because I keep running out of stamina dodging. Finally got em though.

Just with experience comes speed I guess, plus if you slow down, you're going to get hit and likely killed

I've platinumed Bloodborne and every Dark Souls game, and I can't even beat the first Unstable Lancer. The combat in this game sucks, especially the stamina system.
Stamina in this game is pure aids
I know its stupid, it gets worse when you run towards end of a balcony to perform a jump, but end up falling off because your stamina ran out xD
There is a module later which makes it so dodge and jump dont use stamina, but its kinda at the end, part 7 we get it maybe

I would, especially if you're a beginner to souls games. Personally I love the theme of the game, and it's a shame it's not more popular.
