I got these last week from amazon and just used them for the first time last night ironically lol, they cut OK so far.
With these I have to change out the blade
PremierCutts I was trying to hold out with switching the blade but I gonna go ahead and do it. Can’t wait for your follow up bro, also glad you’re doing good.
Just got mine two days ago and believe I got a defected one...meaning that it wouldn’t go through all 5 clicks. The first on the left would not stick and it would jump to the second hole. Just wondering if yours goes through all clicks fine?? I was able to figure out the issue with mine, the plate that holds the moving blade has the hole in which the lever attaches to. The hole was not large enough from factory, just enlarged it a bit more with a file...and now works like it’s supposed to.

Just got my kemei 1986s in the mail yesterday 🔥just wondering if I change the blade should I change it to the wahl legend blade or the wahl magic clip blade ? 🤔if the blade change isn’t necessary I won’t do it tho

Ordered these in silver + 1949 trimmer few weeks ago from eBay. 1949s arrived today. Looking forward to comparing the 1986pg to my Wahl 1919s. Battery life isn’t great on them but with the surgical blade they cut well!!
I wanted to like the 1949 but with out a mod it just doesn’t cut very well
PremierCutts yeah I’ll be looking to replace the blades with the Wahl T set. Currently have a gold set of 1986 (original) away for the black and gold treatment. Inspiration from the Wahl 1919 el Presidente custom spray.
Will be adding a surgical blade to these once they’re back.
If tomb45 comes out with a wireless charger adapter for these it's over for brands like Wahl, andis, Oster 😂

I'm not a professional barber and in fact I only use clippers on my own head. I'm still learning. I haven't had any issues with this machine so far and I got it about a month ago but then I've only used it once. I got it through Amazon and I notice it's not currently available. I suspect PC is reluctant to review this product because he doesn't like it and he doesn't want to give a bad review to clippers he received from Kemei gratis.

I greatly appreciate your reviews. After researching and watching your superlative review on the Kemei 1986, I pulled the trigger and hit your Amazon link at 10:00 on Saturday night. The clippers were delivered 20 hours later.
They came 100% charged. My hair was way overgrown and I buzzed it to a 1.5 in 10 minutes. Did a pretty good job for my first time.
The Kemei 1986 is pretty quiet. The 1.5 guard I used snapped on easily, and they were a breeze to clean.
I was going to order the 1986 Pro, but they weren't available. Would love to find out which you prefer?
Can Wahl guards fit on kemei 2600
Were you able to make zero gap on your previous Kemei 1986? If so, were you able to cut so close ( like the detailer trimmer) ?
And, was battery display information accurate?
I did zero gape them and they were close enough to bland good with the detailer
And yes the battery life has been fantastic

Can you do a top 5 clippers you tried? Mostly bang for your buck clippers? For example in my opinion the wahl seniors are better than the magic clip but not double the price better

I bought a set the other week. Changed the blade to the Wahl blade but the Wahl blade isn’t as good. Great for fading but not so good for heavy bulk removal. Are there any kemei clippers that have a more powerful motor?

I was asking bout this clipper I have the 1986 original version my gold clipper combs just landed. I know u get asked a lot but plz brother review the 5027 I have this. I comes very close to zero gap with maybe a hair line gap. It is amazing I've used it to skin the whole head and it cuts through like butter.

Does it work with the wahl premium guards? I have the 86 with out the clicky and I noticed that when I put the guard on it wont slide back and forth, it seems to stick open and wont go closed with guard on...

Do you have a problem that your clipper lever cannot go into the very last (bottom) clicking position? Mine cannot do that, making this clipper only have 4 lever adjustable position instead of 5 like you claimed :(

Never use them but I think the only difference is there’s no LED screen on it
What's the word on these vs the original 1986s? Originals were 2500mah compared to the pro's 2200mah, which obviously sound better. But I've decided to go Kemei over Surker based on your opinion and will wait to hear what you think about pro vs original. Also, do you have a preferred clipper out of the box? Will probably go with your blade recs, but I'm not a professional so wondering if it's necessary.

Any blade modifications ...I'm pretty sure these blades are trash.
No my need it but if you want to change the blade out then sure change it out to something you prefer but it has to be a WAHL blade
I had some rust/brown
stains on the outside of the blade. Just used once yesterday and found the rust this morning. I
was able to wipe it off and it smelled like rust. Oiled before use.
I’m worried about the blade quality now.
All blade will rust if left in a moist area

I’ve got this clipper, it’s not as good as the 1986z
Can you explain why?
It doesn’t seem to have the same power as the 1986z. The Blades move a lot slower so you have to cut a lot slower so they’re not good for barber shop use

That will only have in a really hot environment whatever Clipper you use will have that same issue that’s why barbershops are coded to be around 73 or lower degrees
