This has been in the game for years now for gamepad users (I am one) but over the last couple of years they've added more to it. Actually this year it seems to be the same options as F1 22 even down to the ability to adjust the wheel rotation value for gamepad settings.
From my experience in the beta, tracks like silverstone, imola and interlagos didn't have any change but the textures where updated like curbs for example, they added a lot of wear and rubber on top of the solid colors to give a more realistic look alongside with the 'yellowish' filter on the screen.
Silverstone did have changes. Look at the outside edges of the track. Plus curb updates too in comparison to 22
i didnt even have the beta and there has definitely been changes to silverstone
Silverstone is laser-scanned, how do you not see any changes??
@@luuk19_ To be completely honest, I did not pay much attention to the tracks while playing the beta on week 1, Silverstone being a flat track I never had any issues with it not being scanned on previous games, but looking back at some footage it really is different, thanks for the heads up everyone lol.

Little things I would love to see for F1 23:
1. Red flags, an option for the players to manually drive into the pits and when the red flag ends, we can manually leave the pits for the formation lap.
2. VSC and full Safety cars will be triggered almost every time a car retires from mechanical failure, I just feel it'll make the game more realistic
The floor modelling point isn't really a thing. the model having the physical geometry doesn't mean the collision mesh has it
I'm curious to see how much your safety rating can be improved in single player. My concern is online griefers being able to re-enter high rated lobbies by grinding SR offline. 4:13 Also interesting to see you could switch off the licence system
yeah that would be unfair, it should be only for multiplayer, making it apply to singleplayer is stupid
@@amarokdcs1062 yeah I could understand if they did it gran turismo style like completing some kind evaluation, maybe force you to complete 5 clean 25% races on at least hard difficulty in single player before you can join a ranked lobby or something
ACC does it like this and no one has problems with it as far as I know. Of course ACC is also a serious sim with less trolls

Hopefully they sorted out the audio cutting out problem that randomly happens on time trail and muiltplayer on 22 especially when using manual gears gets frustrating when it cuts out when you need to hear the revs to upshift
Also at 2:07 the top of the car is clipping with the camera
I love how in 5:30 to 5:40 you can see two switches, tyre and engine, floating in mid air on F1 23 and the guy says "They've updated the dash" :D

Thanks for the Driver perspective cam views - just about all other f1 vids are from that above cam, which ruins the immersion.
Gonna be honest. I'm kinda hyped for f1 23. I had fun in F1 22 so I pre-ordered 23. I hope they work on new engine for next games tho.
F1 24 gets a new engine apparently and will also current gen exclusive. FINALLY.

Also, go back to the clip where the McLaren drives around Suzuka. The engine sounds different.
also if ur looking for little things in the gameplay trailer you can see Bottas overtake the McLaren that is being driven under safety car conditions

Looks good, but the price doesnt, 78 dollars for a standard edition is way too much

The changes between each game isn't good enough. Adding a bit of bloom to a steering wheel takes 30 seconds...

I kinda wished that they would of of added full control for the pit stops. It really takes you out of the immersed experience with the safety car and run yo to the grid.

what always hated is the fact you cant do apit stop for you own the stupid autopilot when you entry the pits is shit i remember the the old games you have full control of the pit stop
Is it possible that the layout for Singapore was the old one during the Braking Point section because they were showing gameplay from the '22 season? I would be really surprised if they don't include the new layout

@@dpowell9377 I don't really believe that will be the case, Singapore would be modeling/scanning a completely new section, the final section of Spain already exists and they'd only need to change the track texture from dirty to clean and move the track limits around + make the AI go that way.

they never fixed the dualsense issue for pc. Drastically affected my experience so I dont think I'll get this one, can't trust them...

Quite annoyed with codemasters they've had time to update Spa and didn't bother. That's poor but hope they've updated Spain if they haven't That's equally as poorly done.
i've just found the elevation changes in f1 are so minimal, and unnoticeable. you play spa on asseta corsa and the difference is massive. the incline and elevation are accurately represented, but because codie's don't laser scan the tracks, they will never get the authenticity they SHOULD have as the official f1 licensed game
Lousy ass EA updates the parts of the track that aren’t even driven on (Austria) but don’t fix the parts of the track that we actually drive on… (Spa, Spain, Singapore, and likely others)…. Codemasters signed their deathwish when they merged with EA and it’s already showing big time🤦🏼♂️

@@britishfilmguy Codemasters was doing well for themselves before EA, and actually made changes to the game that were needed & noticed by the players, but since EA showed up they’ve already gotten lazy and it showed in F1 22. That’s why I’m taking EVERYTHING with a grain of salt when it comes to ‘23.

I have thought about it a bit and I still hate the idea of the new safety rating affecting offline as well, sometimes I want to have fun and smash my car at 2000mph into a wall but I don't want that to make me drive with a bunch of dirty drivers online
U can see at 4:12 “affects license level” and that can be off
yeah i'm hoping it's off by default cause joining a 5 lapper with a bunch of randoms should not affect ur superlicense rating. definitely seems more appropriate in league races and 25% races where there's more to fight for

nope 22 colors r awful and cartoony. the yellow filter is to try and make the color grade realistic to that of real life

The graphics are looking sexy but the actual game and the f1 world or life bollocks needs to go like apart frim a few 12 yr olds who enjoy that… it really isn’t necessary to keep. It would’ve been fine to have if 22 was a game that actually worked well like 2020 and 2021 but it failed to do so. If 23 can do a better job then i guess its not so bad having the extra rubbish
after f1 22 i think ill be sticking with iracing for a while
