I really dig this list. I only play on Arena, so I can't play Modern, but I decided to alter your list into Timeless as best as I could, and it faired perfectly well. I swapped Chained to the rocks and the forces for Swords to Plowshares and Mana Drains, added a sword of ice and fire since we don't have Kaldera yet, and it seems to be working out. I really love Stoneforge. Just a lot of attachment to the card and the playstyle, but it felt pretty clunky at the moment for Timeless. This list feels like it has legs to stand on even in that format.
Yeah i think it's pretty solid, but there is lot of scepticism around stoneforge with modern players atm. Some of my viewers were able to do 5-0 on mtgo with this list tho.
@@dack_fayden0789 I think the main difficulty with stoneforge is that it is slow. I went pretty much undefeated yesterday in some casual games, but I always felt like I was on the backfoot until I won. And I think that feeling is probably why people don't have a lot of confidence in it. I think you've mostly nailed the curve and ratio of spells on this list though. almost always felt like I had the right amount of card draw spells, and the right number of removal/counters and threats. I'm uncertain if there is any real reason to run this over a more full-on Jeskai control other than I like play pattern of Stoneblade. I've tried a lot of color variations for Stoneblade in timeless, and it always looks like Esper or 4 color Deathblade should be the most functional in that format, but it rarely works compared to Jeskai. I think Ragavan kind of carries the deck in a lot of scenarios. Also, Phlage really goes a long way. That card is just so generically powerful, that at times it felt like I never needed the stoneforge package to win. Not sure if I should also add some One Rings, but I don't know where to even try to fit them. At the very least, I feel like your list works perfectly well enough for me, so thanks a lot!
Brilliant list! I'll try It fore sure this weekend at RCQ. Only thing i'm not sure Is ragavan. Is It really important? During gameplay really Shine only in tron MU. In the other leages performed Better? Don't see many other MU where It really Shine. What about tamyo or 2 more solitude 2 main wrath of the Sky?
@@dack_fayden0789 ok i'll trust u! Let's try like this! Last time i've brought One of Ur decks i top8 for 1 month and almost top 8 at 4s Bologna 450+ player! Was the beloved miracle beans! Huge fan! I'm considerign tutor subscription! I'll let u know!
Look at THAT... Someone saying a STONEBLADE list is GOOD I'm SUPER excited to try this out at my LGS Effectively have all the vards Just need to get the cards together😅😅
Everytime i see dack play, i see either opponents drawing really poorly (or play very badly who knows), or dack drawing really well. Like that first match when opponent trys to cast a hearse, but dack just drew a force of neg the turn before, stuff like that constantly happening. The decks often seem deeply mid (this jeskai stoneblade one, downright bad). The fact that these a re-runs also adds to the feeling i guess
Oh yes i'm prob lucky 99% of time playing, i too feel like i'm ever only playing good matchups, and never bad ones, it's like a curse, but opposite. Tbh sometimes i miss losing and drawing badly ;-)

Hey lmao I was trying to make this deck work pre-mh3 Just 5-0'd with your list tho. Phlage is a good card.
Congrats, nice work, i loved seeing it in league dump.
I know keldra weilds a blade but can it really be called stoneblade without a sword to tutor?!
no sword of war and peace in this meta?
