Naruto has taught me more about friendship, deaths, and how to deal with them than anyone ever has in my life. It has taught me in the most impactful way anyone could have. But more importantly it has taught me how to be happy, how to make friends, how to escape depression of loosing someone close to you, and that if anyone close to me gets hurt or needs me, to do whatever it takes to protect them. Itachi Uchiha lmao GT yes but that’s because we were saying good bye to all of our favorite characters. Even with super, the characters are different (aside from piccolo and trunks) so we kinda did say goodbye to them in GT in a way. Naruto has moments almost like half of the non filler episodes that will bring you too tears. It’s writing and character development. Nobody has ever dealt with crippling depression or isolation in DBZ. Goku is as tough mentally as naruto, but his motivation is “I love to fight” while naruto’s is “everyone has hated me forever and I’m gonna prove them wrong and lead the world”

That was the sweetest scene out of the original 20 naruto episodes ever it made me cry so hard the 1st time watching it at 7-10 years old because Haku gave up his own life to protect his unofficial adopted father and then Zabuza got vengeance for Gato disgracing haku like that right after his death and zabuza decided to die by haku the boy he took in like his own son and decided to honor haku and pass on right next to haku

For me it'll always been the scene between him and Sasuke after they defeat Kabuto I mean everything about that scene from Itachi showing Sasuke the night of the Uchiha massacre from his perspective (specifically the last words to his parents before he killed them) to him him apologizing to Sasuke and telling him he never has to forgive him for what he did the whole scene is just so perfect it never fails to get me all teary eyed and emotional.
My saddest moment is when I realised there's no next episode option after ep.500 🥺

@Stella Peterson I assume you mean the 3rd and yeah Hiruzen was there for Naruto because he promised his parents (more specifically kushina) he'd look after him which he does to an extent but for 1 he was no substitute for his parents or actual friends his own age and I'm he did what he could (g.e he gave him his apartment and a monthly allowance so he wouldn't starve and I believe he gives Naruto his original orange and blue Jacket he wears throughout og) but there was nothing that he could of done that would of made Childhood any easier.

People can make fun of us for taking anime seriously, but honestly, why is it so bad? We're watching the story of people we know, and yet it's considered a terrible thing if you don't wave an eye to simple people with simple fates that died in history even though they were so far from you, Anime teaches things and people just don't get it.
Scur Reith Things that are hard to understand and even teach to others. things on such a level words sometime cannot begin to describ. you laugh with anime, learn, love, cringe, even cry. you become attached to a charater that didn't even exist. but to you their everything. No matter hold old you get it made fun of they'll never understand why we cry over moving drawings with overlayed voices. Its not like that for us.
Yeah, sometimes, and people just don't realize, Anime has been the border of life and death for people before, I was highly depressed about 4 years ago, and amongst all of that, when Pokemon XY came out, I gave it a shot, and that ended up being a retreat to escape everything else, and thank god it was such a good series, I might not be here today if it wasn't.

This song make me remember all the good memories from back in early 2010s after 2014 my life became a mess. I lost like half my family(maternal and paternal. we all were really close)It was one death after another for months and I lost like 3 of cousins,my uncles aunts my grandfather,grandmother. I lost the girl I loved in a car accident and then just a month later my best friend was hit by a car and lost his life in front of me. Then it was one death after another. I have been trying to get my life together but its really hard. Thanks for this masterpiece.

It's become a part of my ritual to cope with sad times in life.
I feel like this song kinda gives me "permission" to cry. I try to keep steady and stoic throughout bad times, but I need a way to express those emotions when the dust settles.
It's been like this through my childhood, teenage years, college, and beyond. Losing friends, relatives. Bad breakups.
It is a song that tells me "hey it's okay". Almost like a hug.
Naruto changed my life for the better. Helped me deal with bad times, to pick myself up, become good at something, and then help others.

This image is so powerful and completely wraps what Naruto series is about. We often can't understand Naruto because he is a solar hero, he doesn't resent people that done him wrong. He is above the average human. Like the sun, he gives everyone light and asks nothing in return.
