I still feel like they should've done more with Zach in this series, Billy was there, but Zach wasn't shown at all.
Yeah Ollie really was useless. Shame too, I loved his evil Ranger costume.
Again, I saw a tweet saying "mandates" wanted Once & Always and Cosmic Fury "to be separate and keep continuity to a minimum." Lol then why include Billy, the new Command Center (with cracked tube), and the original Megazord (with new cockpit set) lol
I find it surprising that Madako from Kyuranger wasn't used in this series, considering how well she would've fit into Bajilia Naire's crew. Hell, she could've been the bodyguard of Squilla and Bajilia Naire.
It's sad that heckyl left cosmic fury
But the crying scenes in that episode are kinda annoying in my opinion
Man, it just sucks that Cosmic Fury so far has overall been a bit of a disappointing season, and this is the final season of Power Rangers... Episode 8 did pretty well in some aspects, but overall, they wasted Ollie as a character as he's been neglected throughout nearly the entirety of CF to the point of him being useless in favor of supporting characters taking over his role, and now he, and Heckyle vanished for no reason... And it's even more disappointing that they did a beautiful job of recreating the iconic Mighty Morphin Juice Bar from scratch, and yet, they never used it outside of "Once A Ranger", which was yet another waste... The episode is better than the previous one, but not by much... Fingers crossed that the second to last episode redeems the season in SOME compacity.
It’s the final season as we know for now. We don’t know yet if we might get more seasons in the future but it’s possible.
The Tragic Story of The Machine Empire : Looking back now , Zeo entered / aired when the internet was slowly rising and so tv tried to adapt the changes to society and incorporate that change to tv shows. Although this may not be the case it is a high coincidence. Rather they wanted to or not Power Rangers tried to ask and answer this question : Can a machine be a more real threat to the rangers than spells and dark magic ? Today we are wondering about AI if it can create a worthy villain.
Zed and Rita , despite their almost final victory against the Power Rangers , where caught off guard by superior numbers of a surgical military might and they barely escaped and their castle abandoned . However it was the empire s first mistake : Wasting fuel and fire power on what themselves called peasants ( inferior ) What happened next was not The Power Rangers but getting to Earth and cleaning up the moon left the Machine Empire without fuel. In theory they had the fire power to conquer Earth , but didnt had enough fuel to rip the benefits .
Ranger Skirmishes : Zed and Rita monsters where mindless angry bullies , some having powerful magic attacks and other being complete fools. They where brutal but the rangers could adapt
With the machine empire , the monsters where bulkier but also tried to adapt to the fighting skill of the rangers and block them . Their misfortune where that the Zeo Zords and Paramynus stood no chance , however in one on one combat , the machine empire proved more efficient.
Mind control nightmares and spells
Although Rita successfully controlled Tommy and made him the Green Ranger and later did the same to Kat , their spells cant last forever. It must be concentrated to an object or the spell wears off
With the machine empire , the brain wash was more permanent and there where consequences. This time a pep talk didnt work
Goldar chose to attack the rangers after a few days of study and just thinking about it stresses anyone . However The Machine empire chose to tire the rangers using small and repeated attacks and at their lowest point put them to sleep with Somnibot
Even so , even then and right now , there is a limit to AI learning because the human component transmits knowledge from generation to generation and each generation expands on that knowledge over time.
