Originally I was going to make a video of the best groups of this year counting the old generation, but the first places were occupied by rookies girl groups.
And not because these groups are my preference, they deserve to be here for all they have achieved, it's unfair not to mention their achievements because of the preference and personal taste of each one.
No matter how long you have been on the Kpop; This is based on success and what these groups have achieved, because of that we can define what we see in this video.
This year the Rookie Girl Groups have had a BIG impact, broken records and removed the seniors from the top of the list.
Many people may be sad and angry about the success of Rookie Girl groups, but let's see the beginning of something beautiful and new and keep in our hearts the legacy of something great and insurmountable.
I'm very grateful for all the people who have seen my videos all this year, this channel is for all the people who loves the Kpop, and want to delve deeper into the new generation.

Mamamoo:Their vocal is no joke,their harmonized vocal would slays us hard.They are oso a hilarious,funny and wouldn't care much about their image. But when they are on the stage,the stage belongs to them.
I.O.I:They were selected through Produce 101 so obviously they have such high popularity.They were such a talented and beautiful group but sadly they were going to disband soon.Still thanks for the 1 year memory from the girls.
Gfriend:They proved to that even they are from a small company,talents and hardwork would brings success.
Red Velvet:Apart from all the girl group,their concept was different for their each comeback.This talented visual group has shown that they suits any concept.
Blackpink:Honestly their girl crush concept had make me fallen deeper into them.They could slays us with their live vocals and fierceness on stage but when they are off the stage,all of them are like cutie pie especially Jisoo for her 4d personality and Jennie for her baby talk in Weekly idol.
Twice:Seriously they are very popular in South Korea and Tzuyu was known as a goddess.But seriously some member are so underrated.I hope they could get more recognition one day.As an example,JeongYeon,she has such a stable vocal during their live performance but she barely get any lines for their comeback.

Kpop Pafflez it is not "whoever doesn't attend MAMA couldn't win anything" but "only those who r going to receive awards r invited to attend MAMA by the organisers". The proof for this is that CNBLUE won best band performance despite not attending n BLACKPINK won best mv despite not attending. They were invited but stated conflict in schedule for not attending. MAMA still gave it to BLACKPINK although they could have given to say BTS who was a fellow nominee, who attended MAMA. If u look at the criteria for winning the award, which put high weightage on sales of the music compared to the online votes, i would say the awards went to the right recipients. Go compare Twice n Red Velvet digital n physical album sales n u will know what i mean.

I love and stan these groups. However, some say TWICE are untalented, sure they cannot rap as badass as Black Pink, vocals powerful as Mamamoo and crushing moves like Gfriend. I'm a BUDDY, but personally I always thought they don't really deserve those comments saying they have no talents. Ji Hyo is a talented singer including Nayeon and Jungyeon, ,Mina and Momo basically great dancers, Sana may be lack in singing and such but she's pretty good in variety shows, Chaeyong and Dahyun are also quite good in shows as well. Tzuyu who I never expect more than a visual becomes my bias now because I'd seen how much she improves in singing and dancing as well as her acting skills. Even singing their song, Cheer Up is actually quite harder than it seems. Not bashing anyone but people need to have respect in these idols. They're winning over other groups because their fans are that devoted to help. This year, I hope all these groups to have more success.

From what I see, they are individually doesn't have that perfect package. Some are good at dancing, some at singing, while others are so-so. I have to admit this one fact, JYP focused more on looks while picking these members. Yet, that does not mean they have lack of talents or as you mention, should've improve. But then, I've been a fan of KPOP for years, from what I learnt even when idols came from any survival shows - they will still experience lacks of this and that. They improve, but not much, they will learn more once they are in the industry itself. I've seen idols really improving once they face really challenges. Twice has just debuted not that long. Give perhaps another few years. They'll improve even more. But, it actually depends on the company itself to give that chance for them to shine on their own. c;
