    154cm is underrated it only ever gets superficial rust on surface. Its extremely reliable.

    This is a great video and very helpful for someone looking to disassemble a rep (which is usually not an easy task 😅).

    Just found your channel , watching this vid now & it’s incredibly satisfying brother !
    I’m in Australia & we can’t get many brands of Balisong trainers let alone live blades so I’ve been modifying my own clones & it’s been more rewarding then actually buying a $500+ offical branded knife. Your content has really motivated to do more DIY projects

    So cool, personally I hate tuning reps because of how easy the screws snap and I’m not even going tight. Also if you want a rep with extra hardware and a set of brand new CF handles I’m selling those together for like 320 (need em gone)

    Great channel! :) So you would actually recommend Al screws compared to Ti? Interesting.. I always tought Ti was better no matter what

      I’m not sure of where you’d get AL screws, but those would probably be the worst thing you could buy. Stainless steel screws are the way to go

    How did you get rid of the handle gap? I’m still kind of learning more about maintaining bushing balis

    • @cutmyfingerYT
      @cutmyfingerYT  Год назад

      Handle gap is a measurement between the handles. I fixed the play. It’s an easy mixup. If the bali starts off with tight tolerances, but gets worse over time, the washers may need to be replaced. They are considered disposable, and are pretty cheap for most US made Balis.

    How does the older run g10 differ from the recent ones?

    • @cutmyfingerYT
      @cutmyfingerYT  Год назад +1

      The older stuff feels a little more soft. The newer stuff is harder and more smooth

    Which one would you choose base on the sound this select rep or premium rep?

    • @cutmyfingerYT
      @cutmyfingerYT  Год назад

      Sound is mostly dependent on tolerances over the g10 and blade finish. Having tight tolerances will produce a better sounding rep
