I come back to this video all the time because my brother passed at the age of 18 on July 4, 2013. The next day, this video was posted. If that's not a sign, then I don't know what could be. It has been two years now and it feels like two days. I really miss my brother. Thank you Ryan.

I just cried. I definitely understand where you're coming from though, its not at all weird. My Nana, who I was particularly close with even though I rarely saw her because she lived in London and i live the other side of the UK, died in August 2006 and I was devastated. When she died, I was given a beautiful pair of earrings that had belonged to her and I disinfected them and wore them every day for 6 years until one of them fell out of my ear and went missing and I was so upset by this not because the earring was irreplaceable but because wearing the earrings made me feel like she was still with me and if i couldn't wear them anymore she was gone. I cried over the earrings every time someone mentioned them for about a week after the earring fell out and went missing

I lost my mom when I was four years old, and I hardly remember her, but somehow, some way, i feel her presence. i always feel like she's watching me, motivating me to keep going in hard times. I miss her so much. Stay strong, Ryan.

My grandma passed away when I was only 10, and I kept seeing lilacs in my backyard every spring since then. Finally, last spring I realized, hey. Maybe God is telling me something. Maybe he's telling me that my grandma is happier in heaven with him.

This is beautiful. My mom passed away when I was 15, and I've always believed in the strange, the spooky whatever you want to call it. I also shared that belief with my mom. Ever since she passed I've wanted so bad to see her, hear her voice something. I wanted this to happen so bad and I kept coming up hopeless. I got to the point there I just stopped trying. When I finally stopped trying is when something happened. I was driving home from work on her birthday a few years ago when one of her favorite songs Fancy by Reba came on the radio. One that we used to sing together all the time. The strange thing was that the station I was listening to was not a county station, and it did not play county music. The song just came on out of no where and when the DJ came on after the song was over he didn't even talk about it after it happened. As it was happening I bawled my eyes out. I had to pull over and just take everything in, and after the song was over it was like she gave me a pat on the back letting me know that she will always be there. You so not sound crazy Ryan. You just had a special moment with your mom that only you and her will share forever. Just like it did with my mom.

My cat passed away this february, I know it's not the same as a person, but I got super down... I loved her and she only was 5years old when she died... And just a few weeks after her passing suddenly a homeless cat appeared in our garden, never seen this cat before but I started to believe that my cat somehow sent me this homeless cat... I know it sounds stupid but even tho I can't keep this cat only seeing it every day helped me kinda

I totally feel like your mom came to you in that form of the rabbit (not like reincarnation) but yea to tell you she's there! When we see ladybugs we think of my grandma. When we see a cardinal we think of my grandpa and when we see dragonfly a we think of my uncle all because they loved those things. I wonder if your mom loved rabbits?

Ryan, That's crazy because when me and my whole family was in the backyard grilling my mom lost her father like 5 years ago. so he would be my grandpa there was this orange and black butterfly flying around us and it wouldn't go away for hours and it kept coming back for days and my mom said that's probably your grandma saying hello and I was like your crazy but after seeing it come over and over and not flying away I realized shes probably right :) Keep up the great vids ryan

My dad passed in may 2012 and I got that "sense of peace. that they're with me somehow" when I watched the music video for Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. It had been so long since I heard that song and the man in the video looked so much like my dad. I felt like it was him saying it. The lyrics.. it was just really emotional and stuff. That was my feeling. It's weird but that's that.

I know it's not the same as losing a person but I will never forget the time I lost my dog, Jack. I was sitting outside crying and angry when a little dragonfly came and landed on my leg. Normally I would probably spaz out since I'm not a huge fan of bugs, but this was somehow different, it just sat there for quite a while, it was like it knew I needed comfort.
Thank you for this video, I think more people than you know can resonate with it.

This video brought me to tears. But i can relate. My uncle died about a year ago and for his 1 year memorial i lit up chinese lanterns and let them go into the night. The next day i got a call from my aunt saying that a chinese lantern had somehow landed in her yard that morning. I went to her house as soon as i could and i realized that it was the same lantern that i had lit the night before. Honestly, people thought i wa crazy. But i knew that that was my uncle saying that he was still here.

MY great grandmother passed a few months ago. She lived in another country, so i only saw her when i visited, but she always had a picture on my and my sister when we were little in her purse. She was the first person from my family that i lost. I was devastated. But the day after i found out, I was driving to school, and when i got out of the car, this street cat (There are a lot of them here) came to me, and sat right in front of me. for 2 minutes it did nothing. And i knew it meant something.

I think you are so great and such a beautiful soul. This is seriously one of the best and most relatable videos I have ever watched. In one week it will have been a year since I lost my Grandfather. I think you have to have lost someone to understand this, but I totally know what you mean. Anytime I'm in one of his favorite places or if I'm really missing him I see a white butterfly. Sometimes it will come up and fly around me. It stops me in my tracks. Thank you for this, I love you.

my grandma gave me ladybug earrings for my 6th bday & I wore them throughout my childhood. she was a huge part of my life & when she passed away, I felt completely lost. the day after she was buried, I went to take shower & was surrounded by like 20 ladybugs. at that moment, I knew that my grandma may have left this world, but would always be with me. that was 10 yrs ago & ladybugs still make me smile. and I still have the earrings, but my daughter wears them:-)

The same thing sorta happened to me. My grandma died in 2002 and my dad was super depressed and so was I because I barely knew her and she was a great woman and didn't deserve to die. So in about 2007, I got a dog named Grace for Christmas. I didn't realize it was my grandma until she got attacked in January. She survived and is doing amazing today, but that traumatizing experience made me realized: My Grandma, Alice, Was Really MyBest Friend, Grace, In Disguise. Thanks for helping me realize it

when my grandma passes away I was living in another country so I flew out to my hometown to go to her funeral and as I was in the airplane I was remembering her then I turned my sight to the airplane window and there was a bird and well birds are not usually seen in airplanes and then I saw a pink trail a long the sky and I felt peace it was a really amazing feeling. I was small and I had no clue what this meant so I turned to my mom and asked her what this was and she said "It's your grandma"

A while after my dad died I didn't really notice anything like this. But one day I was walking and there was a kitten behind me. I didn't think anything like this. So I tried to leave it behind but it kept following me. I decided to just take it home. The first thing it did when it got home was sit in the chair my dad always sat in. It felt weird, but peaceful. I still have this cat of course it's almost grown now. It still sleeps in my dads chair. I honestly feel like it's my dad.

Last year my grandfather passed away from cancer. I sat outside at my grandma's house, a couple weeks after he had passed. I looked around and a squirrel with no tail sat on the fence, looking at me. I was very confused and wondered "why doesn't it have a tail?" then I remembered my grandfather lost his finger when he was in his early 20's. The squirrel stayed for a few weeks, then suddenly, it was gone. It used to sit on my grandma's porch and watch her. I like to believe that was grandfather.

My papa always had a thing for butterflies.. And when he died and my mom visited his grave for the first time a yellow butterfly landed right on his stone. At the same moment my mom was on the phone with my aunt and my mom mentioned the butterfly on his stone. In that same moment my aunt told my mom a yellow butterfly was circling around her. I really believe in my heart that was my papa. May your mother RIP Ryan. God bless. X

I lost my brother in Afghanistan on may 16th of this year. He was one of a few who were killed in the car bomb. The only thing that was left of him on his body was a Livestrong Bracelet. He messaged me on Facebook on February 1st of this year saying that he would see me in 5 months because he had a baby on the way, who is a healthy baby boy named after his father. I was scrolling through my feed on Instagram and saw a livestrong bracelet on there. Thank you very much. I love ya!

I know how you feel. I had to help take care of my Grand father who only spoke Spanish and me only English. he was with us for a little over three years and he had a heart attach on new years eve when he went to take a leak. we found he after hearing a crash in the bathroom. I gave him CPR and got a pulse. he later went into a coma because a student nurse stopped squeezing his air bag to help him breath for five minutes when they were taking him to get an MRI. later he passed on.

My 6 month old cousin died a couple weeks ago. My aunt kept telling me she was seeing this amazing baby bird everywhere she went. Then my other aunt came into the conversation astounded because she had seen one too and one got into her house as well but it was so peaceful. The next day she got a call from her friend who was a median and told her that my cousin was the sign of a bird. We knows she's still with us now.

All these people are saying they're inspirational or that they've cried, but I don't see any saying that they understand. I am so familiar with that feeling of piece when you look at something you've never noticed before. People always ask me how I come to terms with deaths so easily. It's not because I'm heartless, it's because I know this feeling and it's cool to know I'm not the only one.

But this one did and my dad and mom truly believed it was my dads brother, as my dad was holding him the eagle continued to stare, and my dad did as well, and the eagle just flew away, everything about it was peaceful my dad said, and he also believed it was his was of saying hello im still here! Anyways ryan you're not crazy, I believe many people went through the same thing but are afraid like you said to tell anyone.

My dad lived on a reserve most of his life and he had a best friend, more like a brother. One day my dads brother was walking across the road and got hit by a car, and then another one right after, he died on impact. So my dad grew up this man since he was started elementary, then all of the sudden he was gone, physically but not spiritually. My dad saw this bald eagle standing in the middle of the road not moving, but staring. So he decided to walk towards its and try picking it up. And he did.

I lost my uncle 2 years ago, and to this day I wish he was still alive. He taught me so much, most importantly how to play Scrabble like a boss. He owned a house painting business so naturally he had a van with ladders on top. And whenever I see a painting van, I look and see if the driver is my uncle. It never is obviously, but that moment when I look, it gives me that same peace that you were talking about. The van's give me hopefulness that he is watching out for me until we meet again.

You know, Ryan. The Chinese believe that when a person whose dear & close to us died and we see an animal or an insect(any living thing) flew into the room/house and stay for a long time then disappear or just close to us. We believe that's the spirit of the one we loved. They come back to see if we're doing good or to watch over us, protect us. I don't believe back then but your video helps me to believe it now. & I guess this has nth to do with a single race but to all humanity. :)

Great story Ryan, im glad you found peace :) most ppl dont accept it and actualy go crazy or fall into depression. I actualy lost my uncle a few years ago cuz of cancer and im still struggling to let go, if i ever talk about it or hear about it i end up crying, im still trying to let go but its really not easy when you lose some1 in ur family that never treated you any different from any1 else in the family, i dont have many of those, i guess you can say im sort of like the black sheep..

I lost my little brother 6 years ago and i had almost the same experience. After he died i would just break down and cry. But when i did cry it didn't feel like i was crying normally. Every time i cried it felt like someone was there with me. At first i was like (this is only happening because he just died. Kind of how you did when you first saw the bunny.) But the third time i broke down i realized my brother was trying to reach out to me. So seeing your video helped me realize it was my bro.

The same thing kinda of happened to me. my great grandma died almost 2 months ago and a week after she passed away I was in my bathroom looking at myself in the mirror and i looked out the window and the sky was completely pink, and that was her favourite color, and I somehow knew she was telling me that she was there so I said "hi grandma" and the trees around it shook, and now whenever the sky is pink, I always say hi and there is always something that moves whether it is wind or a flower.

This has happend to me so many times. On the day my aunt was dying my sister would not stop crying. My sister was 4 and my aunt was on the other side of the world. Before my grandpa died a white bird followed my dad around like no tomorrow and when ever i feel worthless and down 2 white butterflies always come near me and rest on a plant by me and i know that it is my aunt and grandpa

    I cried my eyes out...
its weird that you say that because my great grandmother died before I was born and my grandma says her spirit would be a monarch butterfly (because she loved them) and at the park the other day there was this monarch butterfly that I kept seeing fluttering around me and my birthday was like 2&1/2 weeks ago.. so yea I said hi to a butterfly... and I think it was her wishing me a happy birthday :,) ... I hope it was at least

A year ago on April 16th my grandmother passed away. I was heart broken. My aunt, from the other side of my family, attended my grandmothers funeral to pay her respects. Less then 3 months later in July she, my aunt, passed away. It has been a rough year to say the least and I can certainly relate to what you mean. I don't think you're crazy nor do I think I am since I have my own interesting story. Faith and hope is what keeps us going.

I had a similar thing happen to me. My dad died about two years ago, and I remember I went to the cemetery the first year anniversary of his death, and there was this dog... and he was following me around the cemetery and then he takes this stick and drops it at my feet and I was like okay. I'll play along, so I threw it away from him and he ran after it and came back. He did it a good couple of times. When I came across the dog, he was sitting on the side where my dad was buried.

Same type of thing happened to my mom! In 2009 when my Grandma died a few days later or whatever my mom said she was coming out of their house and she was standing on the front step and stuff when a few birds sat down on a wire and there was this one really pretty bright blue bird and it was staring at my mom and then went and landed on her car antenna and then up by her and then it flew away, my mom believe it was her mom. :) I believe her.

My best friend killed herself 4 years ago and I was seeing her everywhere, I felt she was there with me every single moment and that scared me a lot. I too believe in reincarnation. I don't know if it's real or not, I don't care, maybe it's just our brain denying the loss. Your story was so personal and sincere. I thank you for sharing that with us! God bless you!

I'm crying right now. I had a very similar situation happen to me with a stray cat a week after my grandpa died. We were so close before he died and I was devastated when he passed. I told my brother what happened and he did think I was crazy. He thought I was mocking him and no one believed me. But I know what happened and I will always remember it.

My great grandma died a few years ago. The day after I went out on the porch and saw a yellow butterfly. I had never seen a butterfly in the porch. Then my grandma went out side. She saw it. My grandpa saw it. Then we started to get it. Every time we went outside we would see that yellow butterfly. And every time you go outside on the porch, it says hello. Every time.

My horse (who was a "loved one" to me) passed on and she was blind in one eye and then the next day our other old horse that my horse was like best friends with went blind in the same eye. I took that as a sign that my horse was still with us an it comforted me
And our other horse isn't phased by being blind in that eye by the way. :)
