Charlton made Blue Beetle, The Peacemaker, and The Question. They were the inspiration for The Watchmen film/graphic novel.

I caught a few episodes of the Six Million Dollar Man. The show wasn't on regular syndication for me, but I enjoyed it.

These are really cool. I know back in the day, they made cartoons of a few live action shows like Gilligan’s Island, The Brady Bunch and even the Partridge Family of all things, why not Six Million Dollar Man? It would’ve made a pretty cool action cartoon in my opinion.

I’m 52 love Six Million Dollar Man. Still watch it too. Gonna be watching return of the death probe tonight. I used to play the six million dollar man outside moving slow making the bionic sounds while climbing a big woodpile 🤣🤣🤣 back when us kids could entertain ourselves and have fun. Great memories. Thanks for the video. Anything Six million dollar man you got my attention. 💪🏻😎

A little before my time but it cast a pop culture shadow.
Yeah, a millionare used to be crazy, millionaire playboy Bruce Wayne. I can't even imagine that much insane money! Then everybody got together & switched it out to a billion. Huge leap.

I remember watching the show in reruns but never got any of the merch as a kid. I always loved the slow motion "fast" running.

That square piece was from Maskatron. Remember Maskatron? Played by John Saxon from Enter the Dragon. That Steve Austin costume was my first Halloween costume. I used to use the SST Bigfoot for Chewbacca before I got the real one. Used the Steve Austin figure as the bartender at the cantina. Used the bikes as Han and Chewey’s recon bikes that popped out of the bottom of the Millenium Falcon, even though I never had the Falcon as a kid.

Had Steve Austin and Maskatron. There's a great old skit from the time called the Six Dollar man where they make an out of control muppet robot for 6 dollars.

I found a sealed version of that christmas record in the nineties. I still have it. I remember having one of those yellow plastic raincoats, too. I wish I knew where my fan club 8 x 10 was. I had it for years. It's probably buried somewhere.

I had Six Million Dollar Man stuff before Star Wars. The bring back so many memories from watching that show. My favorite was when Steve Austin had to fight Bigfoot. lol.... I always thought those toys were Mattel... Maybe I was wrong?

One of the first rules of pop culture marketing is that if something is successful, get the licence and slap the name and the image on everything you can possibly can and sell the Hell out of it until the bubble bursts! Planet of the Apes toothbrushes!? Do Apes brush their teeth? Did Verdon and Burke? Did Taylor? Nova looked as though she might've though...
My favourite piece of Six Million Dollar Man merch was nothing to do with HIM, it was the Kenner/Palitoy Maskatron figure. Take THAT, Steve Austin! 😂

I think it would be cool to have a few things like the figures, the cryogenic capsule, and a lunch box.
I think a coloring book would be cool to have also.
    Thanks for showing these

This was a brilliant, uplifting, funny video. Great stuff Junky!!
I too had that strange square little screen bionic arm insert thing. I’ve not seen that, or thought of it in 45 years! - This vid’ was a trip down memory lane. …And the red shoes, I remember those like it were yesterday.
Big hugs from U.K. to the Junkman.

3:24 "...random picture of Steve Austin's balls..."
Hohenwald. I swear you've got to be a Hohenwalder. I don't really want to know, but I am submitting my official guess.
My buddy in college was from there and apologized for his town existing and not my having to drive him there on weekends.
    Respect.

I had no idea there was so much stuff for this. I got the figure, shuttle and another vehicle from the thrift store as a kid. I saw the show and thought it was pretty cool. I always liked the sound effect. I'm not sure why, but junkman reminded me of Marge Simpson fantasizing about Lee Majors 😂😂😂😂😂 I had to watch the clip after this video. 😄

My mom told me to pick up my toys or she would throw them out. Well, I didn’t believe her (which was stupid) and the toy she threw out was Steve Austin The Six Million Dollar Man. I made sure to pick up my toys after that. I still miss Steve and looking through the back of his head to use his bionic eye. He did deserve that end…🍻

TBS always showed bionic woman, but not Six million. I hated bionic woman... Was fn boring. I was in diapers when Six million came out, and was never syndicated in my area I guess. I had to get up at 3:00 a.m. to sneak downstairs and watch live action Spiderman. Boy was a pissed off. After the 3rd weekend i stopped doing this cuz it sucked.

i recently listened to some Quentin T interviews/reviews of old 1970s' movies and one of the movies Q T discussed was 'Steel' with lee majors.
it was not bad. if u like L M u should check it out it is on youtube. free Lee produced the movie too. Q T liked it, so i went hunting for it and found it on uTube.
i great drop into the past. have a good walk thru that Chasing Amy poster room.
