great job building this thing.the result is great . but i think you missed something about the density of the insulation. i think that when the density is very high its harder for the air to travel throught so the absurbtion is redused.i think usually its recommend a medium density insulation about 60-100 kg per cubic meter and about 1:1 ratio of aigap behind the trap - thickness of the panel.i hope its somehow helpfull to someone to do his own research for his purpose and space
Great point! I however disagree. I do agree with the 1-1 ratio. But I believe the thicker the density the better absorption at lower frequency. Bass will travel through your neighbours wall and be felt and heard through drywall, insulation, even concrete despite air flow. The higher you travel up the frequency spectrum the less density and more airflow is required for proper absorption. This has been my experience.
This is great, thank you for showing us the points of the project where you needed to change plans. It really helps newbies like me.
I appreciate you watching! Hopefully my experience helps
AMAZING!
The production value for a video with 500 views is insane
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
Seriously, I didn't realize the low viewer count till I saw this. I assumed it would be like 20k.
Nice work.
Thank you!

Amazing video, you really did your research
Thank you for your kind words!
Thanks for watching! What's your view on air gaps behind bass traps?
THIS. I'm also curious.
have you finished the room?
Not quite. I will post a video about it soon though thanks!
HOT!
Thank you!
