Andy Car is an Angel sent from heaven, this video has actually helped so much. I am about to go buy a used radio to try this same fix. Hopefully I am successful, will update in the future.
@ It works, pulled a radio from an 2017 IS 300. The two different boards he’s talking about in the video are merged into one so I just replaced that and it worked.
@@aspects.musicAS yea I was told its the radio's motherboard, I haven't got it fixed yet because my car is in the shop for some other stuff but i'll lyk if that fixes it when I change the radio out
There is soooooooo many ppl from the Lexus community with this same damn issue. Ive seen every solution and most ppl replace the screen and it either reboots or like yourself it stays black ima try buying a new radio and try replacing it to see if it’s that’s board I’ll keep yall updated !
@@efrensalinas4953 from what I can tell it does… I’m trying to get my hands on a used head unit to get the logic board. From what I’ve read it would be best to swap the whole logic board because the sd cards are encrypted to each head unit and can’t be swapped. Once I get a used unit I can update you farther.
I ended up getting a 2018 radio from an IS 300 for $350 and swapped the faceplate so it would fit in my 2014 model. The mouse takes about 5 minutes to register after the car starts, but everything works fine after that. It turns out the p10433 is interchangeable with a p11805. I did take apart the p10433 radio, and it seemed to run hot. There might be an issue with the design of the data board, as it has a fan at the bottom. If the fan fails, the data board could overheat and eventually get fried. But that is just what I can see.

My screen isnt black but it keeps rebooting, does this solution apply to that as well?
