I LOVE Jimmy Durante! What an old reference, ha-cha-cha! For those who don’t know him, he plays Smiler Grogan, the old dude who literally kicks the bucket in “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World”
My friends and I watched that recently and it was the oldest (and quietest) I've ever seen him. I know him more for his films with Keaton in the '30s and his cover of "As Time Goes By."
@@degelle yeah that movie was mostly cameos by famous comics. But one that maybe people still know today (even though it’s 60 years old!) I love the duet he does with Sinatra in “It Happened in Brooklyn”. “As Time Goes By” is on the “Sleepless in Seattle” soundtrack along with “Make Someone Happy”
I'd forgotten about that. I'm surprised that Who song doesn't have a copyright-dictated mention of the song details, there is quite a bit of it. Taking a Plane Break always gets canned, even a few bars
i understand the cakebug that bit the Cakeboss was not radioactive, but if it had been would things have been worse? Granted a cakebug that is radioactive clearly represents a threat in simply loitering, but the real point here is whether the bite itself would inflict an additional threat I am not familiar with this area in terms of emergency preparedness, but insects in general are well known to use saliva during their attacks Gives hot spit a whole new meaning
This is an edit of episode 106, parts 1 and 2. I think the only way to hear the original episodes now would be to subscribe to Howl FM, which has all the CBB episodes available.
I think this is my all-time favourite episode! ❤️
It's strange to hear early Cake Boss, before PFT fully formed the character and the character's voice. But what a brilliant performer is Tompkins!
Inkyabyss yeah he’s amazing.
If they didn't mention Jimmy Durante I thought I was going to lose my mind.

I'll have to check out that duet. Thank you!

I've done first aid several times and they never cover cakebug bites. This is a big omission, I think.
