For anyone who doesn't understand what's happening in the ult: Right at the beginning, the character is in his southpaw stance (with his left hand further back, acting as his "big gun"). The character hits the opponent with his left while simultaneously stepping up his left leg, quickly switching to his orthodox stance (which now makes his right hand the "big gun"). Since the opponent doesn't notice this, the character tricks them into thinking his left is still the heavy hitter, makes them dodge it and forces them into a position where he can easily hit them with the real heavy hitter aka his right hand (which is why there is a cool close up to the character's face as he has gotten the opponent into his trap).
@@Jarmen_Kell1 no bro, he didn't even fight itagaki, nor did he win... He fought miyata edit: Nevermind i forgot he fought itagaki first before miyata. Mb all
M2s are heavy punches, in this case the cross. That's why going left throws the right cross(orthordox stance), and going right throws the left cross(southpaw stance).
@@scout5712 even so, hell before I started boxing I already got an idea of what these terms meant, don't excuse someone's lack of knowledge about simple stuff especially if they're literally playing a game that's based off of a sport that has those things
The attention to detail in term of boxing irl is amazing. The static concept is like this: When he moves to the left, he changes his pivot foot to his left foot. He throws a left m1 because his left is at the front and he throws a right m2 because orthodox stance have a dominant right hand which means their right hand would be considered as a 'heavy attack'. When he moved to the right he would change to southpaw and the concept is vice versa. This is why ambidextrous is dangerous and very, very powerful in pro boxing since it would usually means no natter what stance he is. His punch will always hurt and sting.
the real issue when it comees to ambidextrous boxers is not the power but stance switching also changes the rhythm of the punches when trying to avoid them
@punctualerror1939 most ambidextrous need a few moments to adjust to the change of range in both hands. However, this is a game so changing rhythm and adjusting is not needed because it's kinda too complicated

imo, I think you just have to bait people into dashing and you have to frequently use your faint to trick ppl into dashing for your ability to recover (Rip to those that use backdash to escape). In terms of gameplay, using switch hit is a little risky - The damage is as good as ippo, and guard dmg is noticeably good; dash speed is the same as basic (I think?) - Additionally, if you wanna recharge your ability, you either have two options: 1. Trick your opponent by fainting or getting out of reach (for them to dash away) 2. Get REALLY CLOSE to your opponent for them to initiate a panic dash (Although effective, you might get punched in the process so gl dodging) BONUS: Switch Hit is basically a good counter to styles that dash a lot (As shown in the manga where Itagaki fights Randy Boy Jr. and Itagaki lost). BUT the downside of fighting a speedster is the m1 speed, advantage, and area-awareness. For me, just like shotgun, you could pressure enemies into a wall and wait for them to dash back. Additionally, Switch Hit would be fatal to hitman since hitman relies heavily on dashes to escape (Those styles that have a swayback ability too). DOWNSIDES: There's not much that I can think of; it's a pretty solid style. Although just like basic, it has an average dash and basic-level m1 speed (depending on which direction you use). UPSIDES: Good damage, Average Block, Average Dash, Painful Guard Damage (as seen in the video - which ONE M1 COMBO makes you lose your WHOLE BLOCK). Useful Ability, Very tricky pattern. Personal Review: It's like ippo but with more advantages (Minus the dash). I can already tell it's similar to smash with how braindead the guard damage it does. Moreover, when you use your ability, you can be aggressive with the m1's or m2's (personal opinion). You're lucky if you're fighting a speedster that relies on dashes or an aggressive player that always frontdashes towards you. Overall, it's a style that CAN BE legendary-level. (Sorry if I yapped too much, but I hope this helps!) EDIT: Depending on the movement (left or right) you get different advantages. LEFT DIRECTION: Basic speed and gives you the fast m2 (This can be used when you've used static - if you're aggressive) It basically gives less time for people to dodge your average-speed m1's and fast m2's RIGHT DIRECTION: Fast m1's, Slow m2. This direction is where you wanna start most of your matches with, since it's like prodigy shotgun but slower m2. In my opinion, this is your base - it gives you the advantage and outs your enemies on edge. TIPS OR TRICKS: After throwing a m2 (left or right) you can throw another m2 (left or right again) to trick someone. Basically, you fool your opponents. STATIC MODE (tips?): When using static mode, you might wanna use your right to initiate a combo, followed up by a left side combo (if possible). But the most reliable is the left side, since static gives you the advantage to be aggressive on the ring. For m2's, you need to use the left m2 for faster m2's (disrupts the dashing) and the right side m2's (true dmg and removes healing + guard dmg) That's all about the new information; thanks again!
Same here bro . When they said about rush light i was not that happy cuz we have a lot of legendary styles now. And i always think about this style to be add. Hopefully here it is
tbh, I didn't even know that people where thinking about this style to be added, I had this idea when I was fighting my friend and just tought like "imagine if they added a southpaw style to the game" glad they actually did
In my opinion, I'd say that this is an all-out figthing style. It has both orthodox and southpaw stances which can confuse your opponent and also has a skill that can cancel out an opponent's perfect dodge and can also debuff/reverse the inputs of your opponents. I'm sure most pro players would have trouble using or figthing against someone using this style since it's both confusing and crucial to fight against.

If Static only be granted by dashes, styles that has high guard block and debuff attacks that can match Switch Hit. But now knowing that Switch Hit has that ability is what we can use to our advantage. It did NOT say that one dash is all it takes to grant Static again so we can still dash but use it carefully, we can still perfect dodge.. besides if we know that we dash too much, we already know how to counter it by "switching our brains to match the Static." Example if he uses Static on a PD, Then go forward to retreat, m2 to m1 and right to left and vice versa. the major problem is that you have to do this every single time if you know wanna win agaisnt Switch Hit
@@kingjz63bg6 when its used it reverts the opponent's control, but when you use it when you are perfect dodged by your opponent, you will cancel it, meaning you won't be stunned and they won't be able to m2 or ult your or whatever
The reason the M2’s are on the opposite sides is because of real life Boxing where the M2 (Cross in Boxing terms) is always the opposite side of the M1 (jab in boxing terms)
For clarification, m2s are revsersed because in irl boxing, when you move to either the left or right in a matching stance, your power hand is lined up to your opponents head, like a south paw moving right against another southpaw and vice versa, good lil design drowningsome made
Aside from the actually unique active skill, the passive is actually really cool. And I love the way that the m1 string and m2s mimmick actual boxing. Like you said, having the m2 be a right when in orthodox and a left when in southpaw is really cool because that's just actually how those respective styles throw their punches, since the foot positioning of either style lets them pivot their body weight easier into the respective direction.

Something I've found is that you have time to choose which stance to use after a pd. It might take some learning to get used to, but you should always step right after a pd for increased antiheal
since you are the closest person I can think of that can get in contact of the owner here are some buffs/reworks that should apply to some styles. trickster: frog punch should also be an ability like hammers body blow, besides the fact that hammer can remove the guard. Can be used after a perfect dodge cuz its dodgeable, it will do as much as an iron fist HITMAN: should be exactly like shotgun, base will have the same stats as base bullet (besides counter dmg and dashes) and instead of a shotgun, it will be a chopping right, that can be used after a perfect dodge, but does as much dmg as a normal/ avergae heavy, but using it after a block, will do as much as a smashand will slow down the enemy for 3 seconds (as much as kimura) for mode, you get flicker jabs and lower your guard and like the ghost jab you get a 2 time use ability called "step-in" whiich is a step in flicker with douuble range, and as fasst as bullet/ghost jabs. HOW TO GET MODE: perfect dodges and counters with heavys, HOW TO GET STEP-IN: perfect dodges and counters. once you use step in twice you go back to base. (im gnna do this every video... maybe),
The reason why they reverse it on heavies is because in boxing the hand that is behind you rather than your jab hand is your power shot so when you switch to your shot changes
The style feels balance but when you look at the more specifics...yeah. It is lowkey op mainly the part you can flat out cancel an perfect dodge and the oponnent can't do nothing if their perfect dodge got cancelled so it is a free hit and combo for the switch hit I know it capitalize on the mistake of spaming dashes but really- the combination of everything switch hit has it is basecly Impossible for you to not use your dashes because otherwise if your oponnent knows how to play u cooked Because the status of this style and the range is all too good In summary: It feels balanced but at the same time isn't all that balanced If you know how to use the gimmick right and capitalize of your status to the fullest
Tbh those pose should’ve been funnier, having the user hands straight up with no absolute body movement but this should be any of my opponents nightmare (they like to dodge bait)
From what I can gather for countering Switch Hit, You have to pay very close attention to their movement and don't dash frequently. Pressure them into using static when you perfect dodge them and delay your attacks if they try to attack. You have to get used to your controls being inverted by the debuffs and you can still perfect dodge Switch Hit's attacks
In real life, fighting a switch hitter is just as hard as unorthodox fighters because you don't know what their next move is and the difference in power is huge. Imagine slipping the cross from an orthodox stance, but it was intentionally to get you in the right spot to get knocked out. A cross can become 1 2 from southpaw. Or loading up a rear hook. Its even scarier if your opponent is left handed in an orthodox stance, meaning his jab/lead hook or uppercut is stronger and effective than your average fighter. Its even worse if your opponent knows how to use both hands in both stance combined with footwork, body movement, coordination, etc like Marvelous Marvin Hagler.
The only way I can think of to beat this style is by using hawk since the inverted movement does not apply to the backdash (and the m1 swapped with the m2 wont be a problem)
Hopefully I find Switch-Hit as another play as I please style like Freedom. And hopefully the better servers (not in my experience), allow me to play at all.
3:36 THAT what's i was saying *but i'll take the chance to get it since its mythic cus idk if they'll change it to legendary in the future (like about what happend to shotgun)*
it is strong, but it is just as confusing, probably the 4th or 3rd busiest style in the game(1st is freedom, 2nd chronos, and shotgun) they need extra care to use properly

(im gnna do this every video... maybe),
Dawg the music of the ult is insane
Yaa u feel like ur the main villian or something
The reason why they reverse it on heavies is because in boxing the hand that is behind you rather than your jab hand is your power shot so when you switch to your shot changes
*3:40* it would be way iconic if the surrounding goes darker and gets gray showing the you control the entire force
i instantly got a hold of the inverted inputs when i first experienced it i didnt even know the ability does that im so good
This will probably be the most dangerous mix-up style fr fr
The amount of potential it has is insane
One of the most experienced needed style if you take away freedom hawk or maybe iron fist. Welcome to the crew
The style feels balance but when you look at the more specifics...yeah. It is lowkey op mainly the part you can flat out cancel an perfect dodge and the oponnent can't do nothing if their perfect dodge got cancelled so it is a free hit and combo for the switch hit
I know it capitalize on the mistake of spaming dashes but really- the combination of everything switch hit has it is basecly Impossible for you to not use your dashes because otherwise if your oponnent knows how to play u cooked
Because the status of this style and the range is all too good
In summary: It feels balanced but at the same time isn't all that balanced If you know how to use the gimmick right and capitalize of your status to the fullest
6:27 i laughed at this part because it's so unexpected and the sound is tom and Jerry
the ult is cool af, i think the switch hit passive is kinda hard but the abitlity is truly op
This music hits so hard 3:47
Devilman Crybaby OST hits really HARD
This style is gonna get the ghost nerf treatment but Good style!
This style gonna be hella op
The controls invertion is just so fucking dumb
Tbh those pose should’ve been funnier, having the user hands straight up with no absolute body movement but this should be any of my opponents nightmare (they like to dodge bait)
With how unique this style is you would think it would be a legendary
From what I can gather for countering Switch Hit, You have to pay very close attention to their movement and don't dash frequently. Pressure them into using static when you perfect dodge them and delay your attacks if they try to attack. You have to get used to your controls being inverted by the debuffs and you can still perfect dodge Switch Hit's attacks
they can still air punch for mode
@@handle-test-yt you cant now
In real life, fighting a switch hitter is just as hard as unorthodox fighters because you don't know what their next move is and the difference in power is huge.
Its even worse if your opponent knows how to use both hands in both stance combined with footwork, body movement, coordination, etc like Marvelous Marvin Hagler.
bro inverting the opps controls is insane
The only way I can think of to beat this style is by using hawk since the inverted movement does not apply to the backdash (and the m1 swapped with the m2 wont be a problem)
Now everyone gets the Terrance Crawford special
Well, its more like Marvelous Marvin Hagler because he's the king of switch hits.
choice of switch ult music is very nice. It's also crazy we got a fucking shinji style on untitled boxing game.
I think they should make it that the ability reverses movement, but not m1s or m2s
The Mike Tyson Strat is actually a viable option with this style that’s nice
Spam dasher: IM COOKED
2:26 Bankai Sakashima Yokoshima Happōfusagari *Shinji's Theme starts playing
Rushlight style is going to be a legendary
Bro this style is crazy canceling pd and inverting controls and also switch hands normally(man this will take a while to adapt)
holy crap the ultimate music is cold
Hopefully I find Switch-Hit as another play as I please style like Freedom. And hopefully the better servers (not in my experience), allow me to play at all.
Jwordz needs to try the first ubg inspired game, the mma legends.
I do lethwei training for fun with friends.
Throwing heavy from behind hand is for more power to generate.
This style is already optimal before the release, the right-left rhythm is very important here.
3:36 THAT what's i was saying *but i'll take the chance to get it since its mythic cus idk if they'll change it to legendary in the future (like about what happend to shotgun)*
We need a tier list with this one 🔥🔥🔥
8:32 for those looking to see the ultimate aith the voice lines
it is strong, but it is just as confusing, probably the 4th or 3rd busiest style in the game(1st is freedom, 2nd chronos, and shotgun) they need extra care to use properly
I'm just rolling and I was so shocked about this style, I didn't even know it exists😂
I think switch hit is a better version of trickster, random punches, unoreverse trump card, and even a static, we going to be dealing with clowns when this style releases
The ult is so fire! W vid love your videos! ❤
Drowningsome Cooking with the next updates 🔥🔥
"The more you dash the higher his static goes" also me who uses hawk, chornos and freedom: 💀
If you guys take too long or can’t adapt to a style or play style then just practice don’t quit just keep practice until you are able to adapt quickly
This is definitely gonna be changed to legendary
Another overpowered style yahuu
Def gonna mess with my friends with the passive
Bro i wish i had internet like u 😢 And i also got hawk and chronos 😊
gg they gonna make it a legendary since he showed everyone how busted it is
