PaPa Bear 🐻,this was truly needed, finally a podcast talking about real issues without talking about sex as the draw to viewers. We all know about the birds and bees, and usually at the end of the day,the person being interviewed always proclaims they are happy. This was maybe the fourth time I was truly moved and invested in all of his responses, the first was yours Andy on Masculine SUPERMAN Collins RUclips channel,it 💯 still my favorite interview he has done with his guests. Thank You,for showing the underbelly of real life and sometimes it's not pretty,no matter how much makeup 💄 you put on it.This was brilliant on all levels 💯😊.Matt always stay strong.
Thanks, buddy, for your constant encouragement elsewhere on social media, and now here. Yes, my conversation with Masculine Jason showed me the power telling our stories. I am planning on putting a bit of sexiness into some of the conversations here, so stay tuned for that. But I understand your point about "the underbelly". I wanted to look at real difficulties in LGBTQ life, and how people overcome them. Matt has provided an excellent and inspiring example.
Thank you so much Papa Bear for giving the space, time, understanding & love! You are an incredible person and talking to you about this was the best thing to happen me. It is a story that needed to be told for those friends that I lost! You are the best!
As we discussed offline, my friend, sometimes one of the best ways to productively mourn those we have lost is to carry on their legacy. I think of their families and friends who may still be struggling. You are helping them to make sense of their loss, and to understand how it happened. I have a strong sense that you are helping them to ease their suffering. What an amazing gift.
Matt was reserved in the telling of his tale, and so I tried to outwardly match his state. But inside, I was horrified. How could anyone believe that this sort of behaviour was acceptable? Let alone helpful to a teenager's development? I am baffled.
@@PapaBearLifeCoach it’s a weird place to be because it was so long ago and I’ve grown and adapted. Granted opening up that wound has fueled a fire in me to make drastic changes and come at them all with gay fury!
@@PapaBearLifeCoach I was raised in a pretty religious home with a lot of guilt and shame, but I am now happily free from that. It is odd looking back at myself as a guilt ridden teen to the nasty kink pig I turned into... I just hope things have changed / are changing for kids now
@@JohnH204 I'm glad you were able to heal. I'm glad too that you are now able to look back and see how your sense of yourself then was unhealthy. Like you, I hope that young LGBTQ people today have an easier time.

That is absolutely fucking psychotic... I cant believe places like that camp exist. Horrifying.
Thankfully it was closed a few after I left…..but yes some places are still around and they all legally should be shut down and reported.
