There is nothing today that even comes close to this, should be taught in music academys!

What a pleasure, for my part I always preferred his long and progressive pieces. For a lot of people (mostly non-connoisseurs) Mike Oldfield got "Moonlight Shadow" ... which for me is almost the worst song ... I also got to see him live on 5 occasions. This composytion kicked me so hard that i love this album from Mike Oldfield! Taurus 2 is much better than first part but pt. 1 is not bad!

A masterpiece by Mike Oldfield. Happened to hear Little Red Robin Hood Hit The Road by Robert Wyatt now, and I can clearly hear several similarities with the sound in this song among others of Mike. Also interesting that Mike participated when Robert made the album Rock Bottom 1973..1974. Who was really inspired by whom?
