And when you're dealing with one, you're better off recognizing it and distancing yourself because you may be under the impression that these people see that they're hurting or abusing others. You may be under the impression they have the ability to be at fault or take responsibility for their actions..or you might think that they have the ability to take criticism, even if it's constructive. These things are needed, to change bad eating habits and making any good lifestyle changes. That's just a fact.
Narcissists are unable to do these things. Even with therapy, most are unable to be self aware enough to change. Maybe you've been around people that threw the narcissist term around, not really knowing what a narcissist is. When you've been abused for years by one, you can see the signs. And I don't care if it annoys you or not, the signs of it are in Tammy in more ways than one
Narcissists are their own worst enemy. They always blame others which means they never change. In Tammy's mind, amy should be focusing her energy on helping Tammy 24/7 and when she doesn't, Tammy gives up and says it's amys fault.

I took your comment as having compassion for Amy because of how Tammy treats her. Just because Amy isn't as big as Tammy, Tammy invalidates her and dismisses her feelings. Uhoh!! I can’t talk about the soda issue. LOL I am never seen without a soda in my hand. What is really weird about me is the fact that I am still losing weight even drinking sodas. I have actually started drinking smoothies though. I’m giving everyone the recipe right now. I mix. Strawberry Yogurt and Coconut Yogurt together and then I add sparkling water to it and use 8 ice cubes into the mixture and blend it in the blender on medium speed just for five seconds and then turn it on low speed until it’s all incorporated nicely. If y’all try this recipe, let me know and if you have anything else you’d like to add to it, or take away from it, even different yogurt like peach yogurt and coconut yogurt mixture, let me know. 😃👍✌️
@@hollyaveryt3889 😂 losing weight is about not consuming more calories than you burn. Calories in calories out. You can still drink sodas and lose weight, but you have to be sensible with it. If you have a calorie deficit you will lose weight regardless if you drank a soda that day. Tammy could definitely do without the sodas though, her blood is probably pure syrup.
@@HammySlaton I know all about the calories because I can drink sodas and still lose weight. Although, I drink cranberry juice quite often, but I do like my Coca Colas!! Other than calorie counting, I have to incorporate self discipline. That’s when you really drop the weight. Rehab is great, BUT you have to learn self discipline. Otherwise, when you come back out into the real world, temptations will be there and that’s when the self discipline comes into the equation. No one else can do everything for you except you. I worry Tammy might blow it when she comes back home from rehab. You know, I am truly hoping Tammy can turn to her fans and friends who will give her a hug and a little push to keep her going on the right track when she gets to come back home.

Seeing this again really shows how Tammy wasn’t really even trying. When home or able to not feel embarrassed she should’ve been trying to do steps and pushing herself. She just doesn’t push herself. She doesn’t want to face it. I know it’s an ED for both of them, but when you get to such a big size and want to be smaller and more able, you have to put a little work into every day. Just like working out, in order to build your muscles you have to work out on a regular basis.
She won’t even do therapy to help herself. Hell when her and Amy went she was constantly blaming Amy for everything. She’s ridiculous.

@Allison Monroe I'm fat too but you know what, I actually push myself to make the difference. Working out isn't everything. It's a lifestyle change. I believe in Tammy, but the longer she waits, the harder that hill is to climb. I dread the day where I see headlines that say "Tammy Slaton has passed away" but that's where she's headed if she don't try and make that difference. There is no such thing as skinny privilege. There are many ways to not become fat, you've just gotta pick the best one for you and go for it.
