Hello, I really appreciate that I can clearly hear every word you say, unlike many tutorial makers who I can hardly understand at all. I was hoping to find a good tutorial about how to insert Date and Time in MS Word. Up til about a week ago I could insert Date and Time by pressing Alt + i, and then T. Apparently they just made it harder in a recent update, but I cannot imagine why they make everything harder and less user-friendly every time they do a software update. So I came here looking for a new keyboard shortcut.

Thank you for watching! I generally don't include the mobile app steps in my tutorials. However, if you are looking for page breaks on mobile, select the main menu arrow on the right side of the toolbar > Layout in the tabs menu on the left side > Breaks. I hope that helps!

Thank you Erin for this tutorial. I have Microsoft Word 2016 for Mac and my automatic page breaks quit working. The layout normally appears like yours at 1:40 between the pages. Today, for some reason, they're tight together without that page break gap. It's possible I accidently clicked on something but, I can't figure it out. Is there a setting somewhere that will get me back to automatic page breaks? Your help would be sincerely appreciated. Thank you.
Thank you so much for watching! Is there a faint line where the page breaks should be? If so, hover your cursor over that line; the cursor will change to a rectangle with two facing arrows. Double-click the line with that rectangle cursor and the spaces between the pages should return. I wish you all the best with your Word project!

I'm in a doc filled with text boxes. Hard returns do not appear between text boxes. So none of your of your suggestions work!
