But like why does that antique/second hand store have SUCH cool things?! There were SO many things that I would have snatched up (if the price was right). That bootleg Pikachu would have FOR SURE went home with me 😂😂😂
About the pokemon cards, $70 is way too much for that product. The product is still pretty new and there were a few reprints that were appearing in stores up until summer of last year. Retail they went for $25 and right now their market price is $40. This store definitely marked up their prices because they know there will be someone willing to pay even if they could get the product for cheaper elsewhere. Side note, if you want to find Pikachu plush toys, Pokemon has their own website where you can get plush toys. I've also found plush toys of Pikachu at Target that are cheaper than what Amazon is selling them for. Sometimes yard sales are also a place you can find old Disney and pokemon products cheaper if you happen to find any.
Would love to see more finding random Disney stuff antique store videos! Also, I literally kept thinking I was listening to a Kevin Perjurer video lol Kenny sounds so much like him.
I wanna called Dan as "Sir Laugh-a-Lot", because he laughs alot & i really love his laugh in every video, wish if wanna makes merch about Sir Laugh-a-Lot ^^
At 18:22, that's a statue of the mascot for Ollie's! It's such a fun store to go through, we have one near where I work! There's so much useful and still good stuff there, and you can get stuff WAAAAAY out of season but still good! For example: I just got a bunch of Hocus Pocus 2 and Frute Brute cereals a month ago! It's so cool to see real merch for them, but it's super weird to see it in a dying mall! 😂
At 1:49 my comment scrolls by on the laptop. I made it into the vlog!!! And yes you should go back to the south mall mercantile. I wanna go check it out
YOCCO HOT DOG KING!!!! That place is a must visit when I'm out that way. I even have a pokemon in Pokémon Go named "yocco hdk" because we caught them in the parking lot of a Yocco's. That is not the point of this video at all but the things I latch onto sometimes, man.
Why do all sad malls look like this now? Unless they were some kind of upscale or mega mall, every "normie" mall from the '90's/early 2000's all seem to look interchangeable. Like, if you'd told me that you were in the mall by me, I'd have believed you. Now, I'm not THAT far away from you, but still, the architecture or tiling or SOMETHING should look different... but it's all just empty stores, this same blah tiling/paint/etc. decor, and sadness.
Clearly you do not have a toddler that has subjected you to hours and hours of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and the Hot Dog Dance.
It's crazy to me how mall culture has changed even within the last 5 years.
But I would definatley like to see you guys go to more antique stores.
Come for the lava lamps, stay for the Dan Bell impression.

Ikr! So much cool stuff - I could’ve spent an eternity exploring those shelves!
