@@Skafiskafnjak51 they do, the end of every scene before a commercial is replayed at the start of coming back from a commercial. Add's like 8-12 seconds before and after. Combine that with only a 22 minutes episode and when you really go over the entire epi you only really have 16-17 minutes of content. The rest if filler repeaters or "mini trailers" for the next scene. Its wild.
One thing that would make this show awesome is stop the drama and get to it. All we care about is how much he got out that’s it. 😂

You don't sell a profitable gold mine unless you find your returns are diminishing and you find a patsy. The guy was happy to leave all the problems he created with just toothbrush. Biggest red flag ever. If anyone could find a golden lining it will be Parker.
That is a possibility, or the toothbrush guy was tired of all the headaches that go with running an operation like that. That's a lot of stress out of your life, not worrying about every little aspect of your business.

I think Parker is smarter than that...they made it look like he just happened to have a chance at new property and jumped at it with out doing his research. These guys know each other, they know whats there and how to get it. The guy just wanted out...they still have to see each other, it's a small community. No he doesn't.......any mining land is not allowed to be used as any kind collateral, that land is rented from the government. The land he actually owns is tiny.

obviously he has some money put away or with loans. you don't have $15M gone and don't back yourself up running a gold mine. he knows what it's going to cost to run it to a certain extent. all the drama is for TV. he will be fine.

It's OK about how much Discovery repeats what they say concerning 15 million. We have to make exceptions for Gen Z and the short attention span, and the education not received for paying attention to feelings and colored hair. It's a level that Gen Z will never reach. He just got down to pay in the money pit in dominion creek takes him 11 weeks to strip that to me isn't really worth it unless I get 5,000 ounces alone out of the cut also the equipment they got with the mine is all shit high hours lo maintenance he just blew up a rock truck engine within a hour of starting it up

First...don't think...let discovery channel do that for you. Of course you're thinking he bit off more than he can chew...that's what they want you to think...and so you do. The reality is quite different than that and you'll not know how much he can chew until the show has ended 10 years from now. I of course think you are wrong on the whole chewing thing,...I think he can chew quite a bit more. Lots more.
Disagree, Parker at 28 is a seasoned and proven miner, he'll make insane money with insane clean ups there. I'd put everything I own on it lol.

Parker needs to call me, so I can go out and hit that ground with a metal detector 12 hrs a day. You'd be surprised what you can learn about ground with a metal detector rather than a pan.
Parker isn't trying to find gold, he already has the drilling reports that give him an idea of how much gold is there. He's just stripping off the overburden to get down to the paydirt. He hit a layer of rounded river gravel and used the pan to see if that was the top of the pay layer. All he's looking for in the pan is a few colors which will tell him to start hauling that dirt to the washplant
Parker is washing the entire paylayer, so looking for the hotspots with a metal detector is a waste of time, since all of that dirt is going to be sluiced anyway.

Parker needs to Dig Deeper in a Concentrated Area with the Excavator. ....or Maybe get the Drill Crew in and get some Samples on how deep he has to go...To see if there is any Viable Gold Deposits...Better than Stripping a Huge Area and cost Millions on wages..fuels... He should be using scrapers to strip the overburden. It would be faster and cheaper. Use the dozers to just rip.
scraper op here, agree a 12 team push-pull crew would take a day or two to strip it all in ideal conditions ie dry ground. Scrapers do not perform well in muddy or wet conditions, they slide around too much.
Maybe that's why the last land owner hit the road

They are required to post a bond before mining to pay for reclamation. If you have watched any of the previous years you would notice that they have to reclaim the land, and if you watch closely you’d have noticed previously mined areas high lighted
