FYI, evapo-rust is an amazing product. Just soak it in evapo-rust for a day and there will be no rust left and with zero work. You can also reuse the evapo-rust again. However, if you guys are going for the old school clean up method as part of this channel, then I get that too.
Once it warms up it will radiate heat back into the fire making for a more efficient burn. With the fire is burning more efficiently, the fire will send more heat your direction. Cast iron is the king at radiating heat.
