Watching the little kids make breakfast really makes me realise how grown up they are now! Trey hadn't even started school when I started watching, and I'm pretty sure Kason and Anaveah had just gone into kindergarten.

not going is fine too. plenty of people have good jobs that are not youtube and they never went to college. College is expensive and many people get degrees they never use.
Trade schools are wonderful too!! My son never went to college. Hell he didn't even finish high school. He is now a Tire specialist who made $135,000 last year!! He absolutely loves what he does!!❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤
@nancyfarkas3592 Well, things have changed over the years and now in order to get a great career you need to have a degree from either college or a trade school. Trust me. Especially if you want to work for the government. But it's also determined by not just what you know, but who you know.
@@laurencallahan9019ot true. What’s your definition of great career? Not everyone needs to be a doctor or something like that. Again degrees are useless many times. Saw something about it once on 2020 and many of the people featured had degrees but could find nothing on their specialty and many ended up working at restaurants and the like to make ends meet
@@santiedormehl3042I have a friend that makes really good money and he just has a high school diploma. I have another friend whohas a degree and she isn't making very much at all.
I really loved this episode because Braxton and Kason are not in the episodes too often. I think that you and Jared have done an excellent job in getting your children involved with various house chores. I truly think that if we had more people like you and Jared in your love of children no matter their heritage, the world would be a better place.

Helping in the household should be normalised. Too many adults out there do not know how to take care of themselves and how to figure things out, because their parents have been doing everything for them. And after a certain age, why should the parents - most often the mother - who may already have a full time job, have a second job of doing everything in the household?
Did anyone else see the “littles” in a different light today? They seemed so much older today I got a little wet eyed, I feel like I’ve watched them all grow up ❤

Unsolicited advice: Addie&Aubrey (and even Brinley/Anaveah?) should join the school Drama Club. Helps them to easily make new friends/all in the group have common interests. Further enhance their already good speaking skills. Really explore-experience acting/improve on-screen presence.

@@shanezazem7804college is not necessary. Many people get degrees they never even use. Many people who never went to college do just fine in life. They get an education already.
I think a fun way for your family dinners to be different, you can have the kids learn about different international cuisines/foods and have them try to cook something from a different culture to not only learn about different cultures but to explore new foods and flavors. Like one night someone makes something Chinese, Mexican, Indian, etc… you get the point! Those would be some fun videos to watch!

They did with Landon… they pushed him to go when they first moved back to st.johns but it wasn’t the best schooling for him so he went back to online

oh my goodness. I havent watched the videos in a little bit. but i couldn't believe how much the littles have grown. so heartwarming seeing what amazing people they are growing up to be ☺
This brings back memories of my mom teaching me to cook as a kid. I remember my aunt came over and my mom told her that I could cook her some lunch if she was hungry and she fully expected like a microwaved pizza or something simple like nachos, but I made her grilled salmon, mash, and roasted mixed vegetables and some homemade sorbet I'd made earlier. I will never forget the look of absolute shock on her face when she walked into the kitchen and saw this little kid with this gourmet meal for her. She took pictures, she called everyone and told them about her niece, "the chef," and even though I am totally grown now, she still brings it up on occasion. It is truly a happy happy memory and a skill I've used to impress many a time.

They've also said quite a few times that with his IEP Landon has struggled with in person school but does so much better with online. I assume that's why they've been more lenient with him

Landon is socially awkward 😳 😂❤ and its adorable! Although i have noticed that recently he has started to come out of his shell. I'm very proud of him.❤
When I started watching(2016/17) this family, Landon was a funny, lively and playful child. Not shy or introverted at all. He was really fun to watch in the videos.
I am happy he is less camera shy again and see him interact more often.
From the little ones, Kason was the most shy. His confidence in this vlog shows how much that changed. I love to watch the old vlogs, I recommend full heartedly.

Yup. In the back to school shoe shopping vlog they mentioned that Braxton kneed himself in the face when doing a front flip in his tumbling and trampoline class

Hi I am Katie and I just want to say that Brinley is my age and she is one of the sweetest kids my age please tell her that I think she is out going and she always thinks of the bright side she also has one of the most contagious laughs sadly I do not live near you but if I did I would want to be friends with brinks or any of your kids because they all seem sooo nice and they are all so kind and caring so please tell your kids that they are all talented and so kind and anyone are mean to them are missing out on some really nice people

I think as well as he has done online school since forever the program they use online means he has to take a test for the credit in the school he would go too, 1 test for each qualification he already has, so would be too much, same kind of thing with Cynthia and some of the crazy pieces.

Aubrey, I'm with mom, you NEED to go to public school & make friends socialize & have fun as well as learn. I am home most of the time due to gealth issues I don't drive anymore. Let me tell you I went out with hubby & the traffic & loud vehicles & people gave me anxiety! Our town is crazy busy in summer. I'm in Canada! So please give public school your best effort. You don't want social anxiety.
Personally as a high schooler doing online my solution to not leaving the house a lot is doing dance classes. I’ve found that doing school online leaves me more mental and physical energy to do the social things I want to do.
I am 59 years old and disabled. I love watching your videos. They keep me from going crazy (pun intended) I have been watching them, and the Crazy Pieces, since the Missing Pieces days. I am from Nashville and I noticed that Aubrey was wearing a Nashville t-shirt and I just had to say hi, and keep up the good work.

I think only Brinley and Trey have their old names as middle names.
Tbf they were only adopted 5 ish years ago. They didn't have middle names before being adopted.
If you don't use your middle name that often eg filling in forms it's hard to remember it.

Only 5 of the kids who changed their names have their old first names as a middle... most of them don't.

Talking about the names and ages, I realized that the only OG Middles in the house are Jacob and Aubrey. All the others are younger than Landon.
It would be so fun to make short collages of f.e.birthdays of each child to see their growth.

I am a Aubrey. I am a homebody. I am 70 and I wish they had homeschool when I went to school. We lived close to the school but my freshman year my Mom made me do lunch at school.

Listening to Addison reminds me so much of my daughter. For years she called her siblings brother, sissy and other sister . Trying to teach her their names was impossible.
How is Addison with coins.? My daughter could never remember the value of each coin.
Now she 17 and her first job was actually a cashier and she finally figured it all out but struggles to count change.😊

Not watched in quite some time but back and love the videos. Everyone has changed so much since I last watched.
Don't forget to get the 'Every kid in the park' pass for your 4th graders (Anevaeh and Cason), it can be used for the family too, We did this and planned a road trip to see different things that 4th graders study, hoover dam, 4 corners and the Mesa Verdes, (that was our favorite). The kids loved actually seeing the places in person instead of just in books. Lots of places to go explore.
