In your experience, can the value of components in the CDI change over time to stop the switching of the CDI with a slight drop in battery voltage?
i.e. - an engine (Suzuki twin cylinder) has good cranking speed, but the CDi will not fire the coils (NO spark) until the battery is charged to full capacity.

In ordinary bikes like cd70 or cg125 there is no spark timing advance. There is a special setup of vacuum advance or electronics advance in heavy bikes and cars.

I have an 2 cylinder outboard motor.
I only get a good spark on the top cylinder.
And very low weak spark on 2nd cyl . Timing light fires ok on both cyl
But spark to weak for
2 cylinder to ignite

hi, my cdi has no kill switch pin, I want to make anti theft switch, there is 4 possible action :
1. Make switch at the GROUND.
2. Make switch at +12V CDI wire
3. Make switch at IGNITION COIL wire
4. Make switch at AC MAGNETO wire
which are better? can u explain to me.. I'm just think option 1 or 2 will be easy as I don't want to interference current from ignition coil and ac magneto.
U r talking about a DC-CDI, and not about an AC-CDI like the one explained here... Anyway, if u put the switch at the 4V-AC trigger-wire (from a designated one of the magneto-coils, probably blue and white), it is better than putting it at the way of 400V AC-current, where the switch-contacts will corrode/rust much faster and block the current more and more, till no current can flow...
Is there any posibility alternator fead power to ignition coil directly?
How worked those old ac magnetos how not to get shocked via boddy ground and how prevent baterry from discharge?
Any one has ideas how that might work?
I was also wondering I do have E core type ignition coil wuld the 4 pin gm ignition module still work if AC is used ?

As I can understand, the performance CDI should work. If it works in other bikes there is no such exception for your particular make and model. All you need to do is to take care of all requirements for the modification. Regards, stay tuned.

Was wondering w your excellent circuit knowledge if you could either build or show me how to (i can give you my email) on how to build a spark plug tester machine (that would send sparks to the plug w a button). I was told i would need a vibrator (at least thats what its called in the states) but have no idea on how to build the circuit...
Yes, it could be made. But why do you need such a system?
@@JahanZeb1976 For years i wanted to build a system that i can test spark plugs and i also will build a chamber to put them under air pressure (to simulate combustion pressures) for troubleshooting. Regular car and racing troubleshooting. I have a old champion tester but all the wires are off and have no idea how to wire it up. Also thank you sir for your response, i myself am in maintenance here in the states and you def have very impressive skills that would put alot of guys to shame here.

There is a pulser coil installed outside the main magnet. On the main magnet 🧲 there is a small reluctance piece which produces timing pulse when piston moves close to tdc. This is setting up spark timing.
I need install relay & remote on/off switch please guide me through how to wire it. Can I connect it to CDI in order to install the relay with remote on/off switch receiver in Honda CBF 125 and bike will will switched off when gear in function as you know? or shall I connect it to any other unit in bike?
This bike is an efi bike. Better you cut off fuel injector supply with the help of relay to kill the engine using remote control.

Does kill switch work as a limiter?
I mean, does it restrict higher RPM than what is required or allowed...
No the kill switch can not limit rpm, but if the switch has excessive resistance when in the closed position it could cause cdi to run low volts than required. Test it with a multi meter for resistance. Switch closed should have 0.1 ohm maximum.

Is the pins of cdi same for all motorcycles having 5 pin cdi
The CDI shown here is very common in most 70cc bikes. So they have same pins. Other than this CDI, they would have different pins.

In this way nobody can help you. The only way is to get circuit diagram of your bike or trace wiring from the bike if possible. Wire colors are not standard for all makes and models.
How to unleash the cdi
So how could we make it so it only fired the spark plug every OTHER revolution of the flywheel instead of every revolution ? at 10K rpm that is 166 sparks per second and my ignition system on my 150cc isn't providing a powerful enough spark at that high rpm.
Can I replace the capacitor for an electrolytic
Not exact pin to pin replacement! It needs non polarized paper or myler cap. Anyhow you can connect two electrolytics in series by connecting their positive pins together and end negatives you can use as non polarized electrolytic. Keep in mind that in such combination the capacity of both capacitors will reduce by half and voltage of the combination will be doubled if both have same capacity and same voltage.
2nd question please. I need multiple USBs to use how to install a DC to Ac convertor to sort out my USBs issue for USB heating gloves and USB heating jacket and GPS phone and power bank to charge because all USBs flatten the bike battery often therefore I need to install DC to Ac converter. what Watt of DC converter is suitable for bike wiring voltage. thank you
Get a commercially available DC to DC converter with multiple USB ports.
get a DC 12 volt to DC 5 volt buck converter (step-down) and run wire from your 12v battery to the 12v fuse & then to a switch then to the buck conv. and then to the USB hub... i hope this helps....
