18 days until the anniversary of my avulsion fracture. I was carrying laundry down the stairs, stepped on the edge of one step and rolled my ankle and foot, breaking 3 bones in the process. Took 10 weeks to start walking without significant pain. And I'm only 30 and in fairly good shape lol

The way Rachel explains things is like Stephen’s introduction for “Meanwhile...”.
We all would like to see Trump go the way of Al Capone. But, unless he specifically said that he will personally benefit from investigating Biden, Trump can plausibly claim that he was asking for national security reasons. And a president putting contingencies on foreign aid would also be a legal grey area. So, at this point, his impeachment would have to be based on perceived intent. Trump's promotion of his properties should already be reason enough for impeachment.
If you really want to safeguard against an unfair election, you should petition your participating state to end the Crosscheck system. A system used by state attorney generals who illegally purged hundreds of thousands of left leaning voters from the 2016 election and was the biggest reason why Trump won the swing states. So that's why the Republicans prefer to focus on any other type of scandal that's not the Crosscheck scandal.

Yes, but there's actually a pretty good chance that it'll be them AND him on this one. This time, he has painted himself into a corner. His future depends on what the Senate does when they are referred the articles of impeachment voted on by the house. My guess is that he has enemies and haters there who may not be willing to accept the consequences of continued loyalty within the next year. We're already hearing things along those lines. Just the fact that the Senate voted to see the call transcript and complaint is a huge signal that some of his GOP support is melting away.

Before I was politically aware and tried to always see both sides of the coin, I always branded Rachel Maddow as the MSNBC Liberal equivalent of Sean Hannity. However, after watching her I have completely changed my tune and think she is one of the most thorough investigative journalists on any of the major political networks. She has a great way of connecting all the dots and going deep when others don't.
