Gerade der Befund, dass sich menschliche Emotionen in mathematischen Strukturen Ausdruck verschaffen, könnte auf etwas Göttliches in der Natur des Menschen hinweisen. Den Beweis muss ich Ihnen schuldig bleiben, ich bin selbst ein naturwissenschaftlich geprägter Humanist. Aber in der Wahrnehmung dieser Musik halte ich es mit Shakespeare, dass es mehr Dinge zwischen Himmel und Erde gibt, als unsere Schulweisheit wahrhaben will.

Glenn gould himself rushed it in his early days. Later on in life he realised Bach has got to be taken a more respectful, cautious, approach.

Dla mnie, zwłaszcza w interpretacji Goulda, to preludium jest jak bicie serca, a finałowe presto to agonia. Może to za mocne, ale tak to czuję.

Sei molto brava. Riguardo il preludio la prima parte forse dovrebbe essere molto essenziale con nessun "abbellimento" e la seconda meno controllata.
