Beautiful content, am happy to see this happening in my own country. Although it would be nice to have a playlist that we can watch to follow your building process of your cars step by step.
Oh wow amazing new project coming up!!! you have made massive progress in little time and then you manage to squeeze another project in. Hats off and keep up the quality content 🔥🔥🔥.
love the work you putting in, yeah i still rate this channel is going to be huge... Once my channel of mine is hard at work I'm so starting a channel just like yours..
@@RuanSchneider-jd6fx yeah i love vehicles almost too much so this will hopefully give me the capital and skills to get to the point where i can rebuild vehicles just like you're doing there... Keep it going man. You got this!!
On the lithium battery, maybe something to try and maybe it works or doesn't, connect a working battery along with the lithium together on the charger and that can hopefully get some life back in and should in theory start to charge up. You can try it, its either a win or not. Nice content from a fellow safa.
Thank you for the advice. you are absolutely correct. I did that for three days straight and came to the conclusion that there's not more hope...😅 the battery is also 10 years old so maybe I should've just accepted the fact that its finished , but like you said its worth the try...😅 Thanks again and Im glad you enjoy the content.👍
@@RuanSchneider-jd6fx yeah the lithium batteries are a problem once they start giving issues, but the can last very long if kept on charge, hope you get one soon and not gonna cost you an arm and a leg.
Rod Bearings are not an issue on the S63 engine, long oil change intervals and leaky injectors diluting the oil are the problem. Open the oil cap, if you smell fuel then you possibly have a leaky injector or one of the 2 High Pressure Fuel Pumps are leaking. Keep your oil change intervals to 5 000km and you wont have a problem with the bearings.
High Ruan, great content, im a big fan of the M6, having purchased one of my own last year Sept. Ill be moving to Cape Town end of December from JHB for work, so will be great to be in touch share stories and experiences. As a side note, im a bit concerned about your costings, as they dont match up. The M6 you used as a "Similar M6" for R679k, is a 2016 LCI model, yours I think is a 2013 Pre-LCI, as its the same model and spec as mine. and the Trade in Value for that model is around R430k, with retail being at the R480k mark. Not trying to be a bearer of bad news, but just want to make you aware so you make the most profit out of this as possible. Ill still be following the content eagerly. Enjoying the build :)
The next Mat Armstrong but from SA🎉💯🔥🔥

As a precaution I would get the rod bearings done as they can spin the old ones 👍🇬🇧👍🇬🇧

Most of BMW parts have manufacturing dates on them so I could confirm the year model from that.
