- In this video, we’ll provide an overview of our second day in Bermuda, when we visited Sea Glass Beach, Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, and Church Bay.
Our ship -- the Celebrity Summit -- docked at the Royal Naval Dockyard port for three days in August of 2019. During our stay, we used Bermuda’s bus and ferry system to explore on our own.

Thank you! We will copy your experience on September 2023!
Thank you for this informative video. Well done! Going back to Bermuda for the 4th time via NCL in the spring of 2023.
So glad you enjoyed the video! Hope you enjoy your return visit!
Is there a place to sit down for lunch or some refreshment at Church bay ? Thanks
The beach area itself doesn't have a ton of space. You see the majority of the beach area at 7:19 in the video. However, within Church Bay Park, there are a number of large, open, grassy areas that you could lay down a blanket for a picnic lunch. There were also a couple of picnic tables, but there are so few of those that you probably can't count on one being available when you visit. Hope this helps!
@@TheJellyBeans Thanks,
Beware of the rip currents.
How did you pay for the bus? Do you need exchange $$ beforehand?
We used US dollars, which you can use throughout Bermuda. You can read more about currency on Bermuda about halfway down the Bermuda Tourism Authority's webpage of travel tips/info: www.gotobermuda.com/inspiration/article/bermuda-travel-basics-tips
@@TheJellyBeans thank you very much! We always love to go out ourselves without any group and the tour guide. Also it’s always cheaper- who doesn’t like it ;)
