+Salty Tails I'm looking at that string of islands straight out West of the barge canal on the South side but it's closer to paddle there from the Yankeetown ramp so I'll be putting in there at the end of 40
hey man how long was the go pro setup in this video that u used behind u in the rod holder i have the same kayak and i wanna do that for mine and i rly liked the view from yours
My GoPro is actually mounted on a YakGear panfish camera pole which is mounted on the rear track of my Lure 13.5 in this vid. it sits about 30 inches high since I have it in a Scotty gear head track adapter. Thanks for the inquiry and the compliment.
Kayak Chris Hey man can you do a video for me then on it I have the same exact kayak and I do youtube videos to and I'd love to use the same setup as u if that is ok with you
Sounds like a good Idea for a VLOG, I'll definitely consider it. Thanks for the idea, I'll see what I can do. :-) Posting a fishing video right now so it may be a few days before I do it.
We launched at the Barge canal on 19. go under the bridge until you see a gate with a maintained dirt road. Follow the road west along the canal until you get to the parking lot at the end. We launch on the South side and head South toward the power plant. Fish around Drum Island, you can find it marked on google earth. Good luck!
You launched from Withlacoochee Bay Trail: 28°59'47.4"N 82°43'44.6"W. My launch point and I refer it to many fishermen is Pirate Point boat ramp in Ozello. Lots of oyster bars, skinny water. If you want to camp out overnight, there is a old house foundation on Char Island with a Sea Wall and a deep hole where I caught many a slot Redfish. Just don't forget the bug goop. Good Ozello Video from the ramp and overview of where I fished. ruclips.net/video/6l9KvNri2gQ/видео.html
Hi Harry, Thanks for the comment and for watching. I hate to dispute you but no, this was not Pirate Point Ozello, we fish from that spot a lot, great place. On this day we put in at the barge canal. Take the barge canal road all the way West until it ends at the loop. We put in right on the South side, next to the fishing hut (you can see it in the opening commentary from Don). If you haven't been there it's really nice if you head out South around Drum island. Lots of Trout, Snook, Reds, Jack and the occasional Tarpon. We haven't been out there in a long time, we need to get back there. The only down side is the gate under the bridge doesn't open until 8am.
Hi Kody, thanks for watching. That is the Barge Canal launch. It doesn't open until 8am. It's a nice location, close to many sandbars and islands. You cross South over the barge canal bridge then immediately take the dirt road on the right just after the bridge. It takes you back to the bridge and there you will see the gate that takes you along a trail that follows the barge canal. At the end of that trail there is a small parking lot and the launch is on the South side next to the fishing hut.
One of the best places is to find a used 13.5 is to join the feelfree owners group on Facebook. Guys are buying and selling them all the time on there. If you are interested in a new one I highly recommend going to ACK.com they will deliver to your door, free shipping. That's where I bought mine.

Yeah are they really slow or they are good and they deliver to QLD Australia
They were not slow but I'm not sure about delivery. AU has a FeelFree distributor. I bet you can find someone local here. www.feelfreekayaks.com.au/
Kayak Chris how do I get a hold of the au distributor
Just click on the link I put in my last comment, there is contact info at the top of their webpage.

Is that a nuclear power plant at 5:35?
Yes, in fact at one point we were fishing the water intake because the flat was so shallow and hot.
Gilberto Martinez that nuke plant hasn’t been operating in years. There is a coal powered plant that provides power for west central Florida.
